With you both.

Hope the gig goes great, Hesk'! Is The Karma Party on tour?

Thanks, Jawa!

I'm actually out with one of my other bands, Sonic Boom Six! Joined a couple of years ago. We're doing Vans Warped Tour, a festival that tours 40 locations across America! It's both amazing and grueling in different amounts depending on the day

OMG so your touring with Silverstein? My favourite band ever !

Do it. Even if you only use it a few times a year, it's so worth it to avoid those days of heat misery. Whatever you do, don't get an "air cooler". They're useless. And if you're using it in a large room, make sure you buy one that's powerful enough, or it will never get the temperature down properly.

Yeah I keep looking around and keep seeing "Air Coolers" around, but when I looked them up it seems they're generally better in more humid climates.

Keep looking at this one, http://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/pel0046 ... dp/HG00921

Ordered one of these today, was tempted by the higher power one but it was an £65. Hoping it'll be delivered tomorrow.

Got it today and have it set up. It's not amazing but for £200 it's pretty good. If you've got the cash then the 14k BTU one might be a better option but in a 15m2 room its perfectly fine. In an hour it's taken our room from a vile 29C down to a more comfortable 24C.

How's the exhaust on it? And how heavy is it? I'd probably be carrying it between the three floors of my house.

Decent length, probably 2m fully expanded. Also has a window kit which doesn't really work with our windows but at least jams it in place without having to compress the pipe. Weighs about 20 kilos and has a handle on the top so not too difficult to move around. Not sure if want to move between 3 floors though.

At least if you're sweating it's cooling you down slightly.

It seems to have reached "peak heat"... and added a layer of humidity / stickiness to it. It's grim!

Drinking loads of water, too. I think I'm sweating it straight out  .

It completely depends if and where you're working in it. Transport and offices not cut out for this weather. Not every place feels like the supermarket chiller aisles.

Discussing this on Sky News currently on how everyone in this country wants it to heat up and then when it does everyone has had enough of the hot weather after about day 2.

The past week has been amazing here, it's just today where the humidity is taking the piss.

Yeah man, they're on the bill! I recognised the name from back when I used to listen to Kerrang! and the likes but I don't think I've ever properly listened to them. They're on a bigger stage than us though, of course :slol:

Nice bit of fog and chill outside at the moment, that's meant to clear and only hit 21 today, it's gonna feel epic!
