I've been on buses in similar situations where there's people complaining about being late, not giving a thought to what may have caused the disruption or a person was involved. Pretty annoying.

Seems a good day today for actually enjoying the weather instead of being pulverised by the heat. I think my thermostat indoors just can't go past 25 then I'm fine.

That's because we have a finite number of people we can form meaningful connections with or give a gooseberry fool about, its what saves us from having emotional breakdowns when reading about horrible things around the world.

I'm stuck indoors as I really don't enjoy being out in weather this hot.

Temperatures hit 93°F today (about 33°C), with an additional 10° heat index putting us up to about 103° (39°C). Horribly muggy, stifling weather. No storms in sight to cool us off, either - and when they do hit, they only make the humidity worse.
