It's a cloudy, uncomfortably sticky 24C / 75F in south-east London. The struggle goes on.

I was stuck on a train for 1 hour 45 minutes just outside a tunnel. It was overcrowded and boiling. Some poor guy fell off the platform on the next station so we were baking.

I felt genuinly bad for the poor guy who died, but the way people act in that situation are unbearable. This really big woman kept "accidentally" hitting me in the head with her bag. strawberry float her.

I've been on buses in similar situations where there's people complaining about being late, not giving a thought to what may have caused the disruption or a person was involved. Pretty annoying.

Seems a good day today for actually enjoying the weather instead of being pulverised by the heat. I think my thermostat indoors just can't go past 25 then I'm fine.

It happens enough on suburban routes in and out of London that many people get desensitised to it.

That's because we have a finite number of people we can form meaningful connections with or give a gooseberry fool about, its what saves us from having emotional breakdowns when reading about horrible things around the world.

I'm stuck indoors as I really don't enjoy being out in weather this hot.

I do expect food and drink places will be making shitloads of cash this weekend.

I don't think I've closed my bedroom window for about a week.

I was being sincere :( I am a big advocate of spending a sunny afternoon in a beer garden :datass: Sorry if my previous post came across as arsey but that wasn't my intention, I was very much agreement but wanted to post something other than " +1 " or "I agree". Edited it now.

I totally thought it was genuine agreement and enjoyment of a Die Hard reference...

Temperatures hit 93°F today (about 33°C), with an additional 10° heat index putting us up to about 103° (39°C). Horribly muggy, stifling weather. No storms in sight to cool us off, either - and when they do hit, they only make the humidity worse. :(

Today seems to be warm and there is a light breeze. For the first time in over a week, the atmosphere feels real comfortable.

I suggest that the struggle is over! We survived :toot: .
