Has anyone ever met people IRL who don't like summer? I always forget it's a thing until these threads on GR.

Been a glorious day, finally been able to play golf without multiple layers.

I have a friend IRL who also doesn't like summer. We have lots of in-depth conversations about how to manage our atrocious ball sweat.

I've known tons of people IRL over the years who've openly said they prefer the cooler times of the year, probably just as many who've said they love the really hot, sticky weather.

 It's not as exciting as I made out. Loose underwear, antiperspirant and powder on the groin, and when it gets really bad you can construct a kind of 'sweat nappy' from some wedged up kitchen roll to absorb the sweat -- obviously you have to change this regularly or it would be really gross, so it's more of an 'at home' thing.

I also always wear a (very thin, so it doesn't make me any warmer than I already have to be!) 'cardigan' in summer to cover up my absolutely horrendous armpit and back sweat.

While I'm getting all this out there, I admit I sometimes sleep with bottle of refrigerated water on my feet. So cooling :datass:

Nice and sunny with appropriate breeze I'm all about.

Sticky hot weather where my arm sticks to my torso and my balls to my knee, can get tae strawberry float.

I like the sunshine. It's a nice change. Plus so many chicks about.

I was visiting friends yesterday and we had a few games of table tennis in their back garden. My circulation and cooling is terrible at the best of times so, in the heat, I looked like I'd done a marathon after thirty minutes of playing.

Was a bit embarrassing  .

Going to be around 27 degrees today here in Rome so will go and chill out in a park or something. Time to look like a tourist and start wearing shorts.
