Anyway, I think it comes from living in Redditch, Cosmo. The accents around here are strawberry floating hideous. Luckily, I sound nothing like everyone around me, for some reason.

probably means a neutral english accent, somewhere like Milton Keynes, Norwich or wherever with no accent or identity


Northants (where I be from) is meant to be "normal" English 8-)

Yeah Northampton/ Bedford and th surrounding area doesn't really have an accent.

You fail, you sound like cockneys to the rest of the UK. I had a friend from Northampton who claimed he had no accent.

A proper non-jakie Glaswegian accent, Canadian or Kiwi. Also, some Welsh accents.

I like the occasional English accent, but my geography isn't good enough to pick out areas. Except scousers, yuk.
