PostWhat can I drop on his/her head?
by emilythestrange » Sun Aug 31, 2008 12:26 am

So I'm at home with my parents, and for the past few nights some bugger has been ringing our doorbell (holding it down for about 7 seconds) at around 3am, and vanishing by the time I get to the door. This is getting bloody annoying, sometimes I'm still awake at the time, but this idiot is managing to wake up my parents, too.

Luckily for me, my window is almost directly above the door, when I open it I can see out and I'd be able to see the culprit.

BUT rather than just leaning out and shouting obscenities (which I havn't managed to yet), I'd quite like to drop something out the window. What would you suggest? Water-filled balloon? A festering old can of Red Bull that's still half full? A bucket of water, and the bucket?

Suggestions please.

Jump out of the window, naked, screaming obscenities.

If Looney Tunes has taught me anything then it's that an anvil works brilliantly in these situations.

SH IT BOMB!

Edit
Darn - beaten to it!
However, its bound to offend

But on a serious note, they will eventually get bored, but if you retaliate they will keep coming back

I don't really want to make a mess on the street outside our door though. Having said that, at this stage I'd very much enjoy throwing up out the window if I could be accurate enough with it!

Put superglue on the doorbell at around 2:30. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen, yes, but hey it would be worth a laugh.

Loads of upright nails just outside your door. If it's your properly you shouldn't face any punishment.

Hide in the front garden and punch him in the face next time he does it.
Or, before you go to bed, connect your doorbell to a battery in a way that will give him a huge electric shock.
Maybe stick a small pin to the bell button.

Which one of your dogs is more likely to scratch and get annoyed at landing on someone's head?

It's you from the future trying to warn yourself for some reason, but your future self can only travel back to a certain time for seven seconds at a time. And uh - well I don't know where I'm going with this. Just spit on him or something, or see who it is first.
