I'll be at my parents so;
Wake up
Open Presents
Get dressed
Doss about with new stuff.
Eat a massive lunch
Complain about how much I've eaten
Have a nap
Wallow in self pity

Get up at an undetermined time, I'll probably go sleep past 12 which will ruin it a bit but body clocks are crap.
Open presents, all ours are put under the tree prior, no direct giving in this house
Lounge around, I'll probably come on MSN and talk to some friends
Probably go to a relatives house for dinner with a load of family
Come home and sleep.

Grandparents are staying in a hotel nearby and coming in on Christmas day as well.

Boxing Day is the bigger day in my family. Everyone comes to our house, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents from both sides. Family friends tend to drop in during the day, big buffet and whatnot, many laughs had. Done it since I was little and it has some great memories attached

Wake up
Haul myself out of bed
Open/give presents
Faf about with presents/go back to bed for a couple of hours
Go to someone's house for Christmas dinner (not that I'm a bum, I just don't know who's hosting in my family this year as of yet)
Eat Christmas dinner
Sit around talking with relatives
Go home
Go to bed

Just about covers it. It doesn't quite have the same lustre it had when I was 10, but I still enjoy it.

That sounds really great, wish my family did that.
I get up at about 10ish, open my gifts, have breakfast...have lunch, then...it varies in recent years, really, which is good.

More or less the same as F_E's.

-Wake up.
-Wait downstairs for my sister to get up (she always takes longest). In the meantime have a bacon sarnie which my Dad always makes.
-When the four of us (Mum/Dad/sister) are ready open presents.
-Go to my room, eat lots of chocolate, play my Christmas day videogame (this year it will be Fable II).
-Go for a walk with Dad and sister around the neighbourhood. Marvel at how quiet outdoors is on Christmas Day.
-Come back. Have Christmas dinner. Wash up.
-Crawl upstairs. Play game.
-Crawl downstairs. Have a turkey sandwich.
-Crawl upstairs. Game. Bed.

An exciting day, to be sure.

Ive even go so far as to put some xmas songs on my ipod already. :shifty:

It was fantastic having a girlfriend on Christmas :( On the plus side it's made christmas quite cheap this year.

It is isnt it, weve made a rule this year not to spend too much because of having a house, which makes receiving presents even more exciting.

Im hoping for lots of box shaped presents. :D

-Wake up
-open presents and either play them/wear them/listen to them or whatever
-watch the dvd that Dad always gets
-eat
-go round aunts place where the entire Dad's side of the family comes round, it's absolutely amazing. So many jokes, great Xmas Lunch, game of football with all the uncles afterwards before we get the cards out and start playing. love it.
-Come home, slightly pissed and sleep

Repeat on Boxing day except with me mams side.

Love Xmas!

The Blue Cross, an animal welfare charity.

I actually like working on Christmas day. I'm only on a standby contract ('cos I'm at uni) so I get double pay instead of a day off in lieu. Get in half an hour late, work two hours, hour paid break, work two hours, two hours paid lunch, bed the dogs down, go home an hour early, pocket £100.

Repeat for Boxing Day and New Year's. The atmosphere's really laid back as well and we basically eat the sweets people give us at lunch and then take a few dogs down to the river or a country park. My favourite working day of the year!

I am looking forward to my Christmas Eve curry with my friends.
But Christmas is obviously the main event, pretty basic routine.
Wake up early-ish
Presents
Family members arrive (grandparents, uncles etc)
Christmas dinner
Presents from family members
Maybe a walk

Why thank you. It is absolutely awesome. We play this Indian Card game similar to Hearts, with some amazing forfeits. It's fantastic.
