True... I was thinking more a COD or Battlefield, etc.

It's still easy, for instance, to get a game on Battlefield 4 years after release.

Unfortunately I have a tendency of really enjoying the online in games that not many other people play

Online it was a really good game, far better than the singleplayer. It also had some really neat and innovative meta-game features. The only problem was that no one played it.

In fairness I only played it for a week myself, as I binged the online before I moved on to another game (I believe it was followed by Mad Max and then MGSV?).
