A subject close to GRcade's heart, what does and does not belong in the fridge, got a bit racist on This Morning, when fridge storage specialist Alice Beer mocks Eamonn Holmes' pronunciation of the word potatoes, then makes a joke about the Irish famine.

Alice Beer isn't hot anymore. Holmes played up to it a bit there by claiming to know where to put potatoes as he's Irish. Still, the hatred in Beer's voice as she hissed out the word "potatoes" was plain for all to hear and she should be pilloried until she opens her own wrists.

Being arsey about someone's pronunciation is a bit unprofessional for a TV presenter but it's hardly racism.

Edit: watched the clip and I agree about the casual racism, there was no need for the 'Dem oirish love potatoes/lol potato famine' type comments, totally unprofessional even by ITV standards.
