Looks like a new Souls game to me :zzz: Hopefully their other projects are still being worked on and will be revealed soon after whatever this is.

Would be delighted with a new souls game but that series is done.

well the music & visuals suggest a Nioh like (feudal Japan) game, but they wouldnt just copy Nioh so who can say!?

Head of the studio has said their fans will feel at home with one of the projects currently in development. He's also been quoted as saying they're not averse to returning to Souls games if someone comes to him with a fresh take on the formula.

Oh cool. Here's hoping we see more on Saturday morning.

I hope it's something completely new. Bloodbourne was fantastic but I think that world was done to death in the game itself. Given how immersive their worlds are I'd love to see a fresh universe.

tl;dr: One half of the guys behind The Expanse books has been writing for From for a while now, confirms the project isn't "Space Souls."

While it would be nice to see From try something entirely new they have long been mainly known for 2 things brutally difficult action RPGs and mech games and that didn’t look a lot like a mech game.

For first project, it seemed like action RPG with dark fantasy setting but approached from different angle than Dark Souls
For second project, it could be a reboot but also a new game with ideas that came from their previous franchises.
For third project, he says it's something different from what the company has been doing previously. He says it will be a bit weird.

Here’s an idea from out of left field... HD remasters of the Otogi games. Like many XBOX exclusives I missed out on these first time round but they reviewed well at the time and I wouldn’t mind playing them.
