What is, in your opinion, the best Studio Ghibli film?

For me it's probably Porco Rosso closely followed by Spirited Away.

Porco Rosso, followed by Totoro and Mononoke.

Totoro, without a doubt.

Kiki's Delivery Service.

But is the one that won an Oscar one of them? The one where the girl's parents sOmehow turned into pigs? If so yeah I've only seen one.

Howl's and Totoro are my faves.

Porco Rosso is quite good but I wouldn't pick it as the best.

5. Nausicaa (assuming we aren't being incredibly anal and still counting it as a Ghibli film)

Spirited Away is absolutely amazing. Has to get my vote.

Something of a three-way tie between My Neighbour Totoro, Porco Rosso and Only Yesterday. Currently I favour the last one.

I haven't seen Arrietty, think I'll add it to my Lovefilm rental list.

Of the ones I've seen, Princess Mononoke stood out the most. Might re-watch the few I own actually.
