In contrast to the Beatles thread I thought this might appeal to those of us who prefer their influential bands a little more raw.

For me it's probably Houses of the Holy with Presence and Led Zep II close behind.

Ironhide, sorry man, I'm not too familiar with Led Zep's stuff. I think I only know Stairway to Heaven and that's through playing Jet Set Willy .

This (though not through a game). Plus even that was ripped off from someone else according to a recent lawsuit. This band doesn't have the post count to pull this off etc.

I'm shocked no one went for 4. I picked 1 because it's the only one of their albums I've listened to.

The first album is cool. IV also has good songs on it. I haven't listened to the albums after that.

Not that big into the band, but they have some great tracks and I respect their legacy and influence.

I'm Dazed and Confused by that too.

I don't think there's really a whole lotta love for them on here.

All completely different sounding but all brilliant.

The trouble with Led Zep for me isn't that I'm not a fan of the music, but so much of my exposure to it has been through various lengthy best of compilations, and singles, so picking a favourite album is nearly impossible. I've rarely listened to many as a whole in one go. I should probably rectify this and get back to the thread with a proper vote, at some point.
