Traded in Soul Calibur 4 for £26 credit at Blockbuster the other week, and can't decide what to buy.

Could put the credit towards Mercenaries 2 on Friday. Not sure if it's worth buying.

They have pre-owned Playstation 3 games in a 2 for £18 offer including:
Ridge Racer 7 (i have RR6 on 360, so not sure this is worth buying)
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Resistance
Motorstorm
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (i have NG on Xbox, but found it too difficult - is this easier)

As a general rule of thumb, if a game has "Ninja Gaiden" in the title, then you can safely assume that it is not easier.

Get Ridge Racer 7 if you enjoy arcade racers, it's an addictive game though the A.I is a bit cheap. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is also a lot easier than the original so if you liked what the Xbox version gave you despite the difficulty it's worth a punt.

Avoid Resistance, it's a bit pish.

Gran Turismo is fantastic, for what is seen as a demo by alot of people, it really does have alot of content, online can take abit of time to find a race which is why I don't really play that mode, single player though is worth every penny.

Ridge Racer 7 is the best in the series for me. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is much easier than Black so may be worth a punt?

Mercs 2 is sounding terrible not really a surprise on what we've seen over the past few months, definitely wouldn't get that.

I'd wait a couple of weeks on Mercs 2, I would imagine there will be lots of cheap copies in the shops by then.

GameStations website says they will give you £25 for the game which isn't too bad I guess.

1/ what bits are sounding terrible
2/ what have you seen over the past months that makes it not a definite
3/ who's this we...... YOU speak of
4/ every vid i've seen of this game (including the 360 gameplay vid) means it's still a pre-order for me

It's not easier, but it is less 'cheap'. And a lot better than II, frankly.

Are Gamestation showing trade in values on their website? Do you have a link?

I think GAME have second hand copies of Resistance for £8. It a bit poo though (I finished it last night).

My advice would be to get a new game either Mercs of Star Wars - at least that way you can get some trade in value again.

Not showing all trade in values, just their most wanted games right now, only like 3 of them for each platform though, just click on one of the console sections and scroll down to see it.
