I'm really at a loss with what to do next summer. I'd applied to go and work in America next year, but I didn't get in for whatever reason and now I'm at a total loose end.

So f***ing fed up with this country, but have no idea what else I could do. All I know is I want, nay need, to get away.

What do you apply to work as? Im thinking of working at a summer camp during the holiday so you could have a look into that. CCUSA offer summer camp work in the USA and other countries as well as normal work so you could check them out.

Of course if you have already tried with them you could look for other organisations.

IronMaiden, sucks you're on last year, some places let you do your final year abroad depending on course.
Why not look into those teach aborad programmes, forget the name but someone else will know more about it.

Looked into graduate schemes? They're a great option if you're unsure or want a change in direction. Or you could just strawberry float it, move to Moscow and see what happens.
