1. It was some maths edutainment thing on those old Acorn computers all schools had. Your character was some green square with sunglasses and you had to get through a maze solving maths problems.
2. I remember this one even less but it was some kind of puzzle game and there was one level where you had to get across a river on a raft.

There were a lot of these things, usually an adaptation of the whole fox, chicken, grain puzzle, where you have to get all three things on the other side of the river without leaving two things on one side that would eat each other.
