What will your Christmas games be this year?

I've been playing through the old Tomb Raider games as they were cheap on GOG and I fancied a blast from the past. At the rate I'm going I'll probably be playing TR2 over Christmas, which I actually got for Christmas in 1998 :wub:

I've asked for Star Wars for Xmas. I once got GC with Rogue Leader for Xmas and it was magical, so hoping to bring back some of those feels. Might not work without the sprinkling of Nintendo magic involved, but here's hoping.

Nothing. I can’t remember the last time I played games over Christmas, maybe 10-12 years ago. I visit my parents and leave all my consoles at home.

No idea if I'll actually be getting any new games for Christmas as I have hundreds unplayed already. I might get Rare Replay, Uncharted Collection or something if they're cheap perhaps.

Maybe I'll finally sit down and get comfy to start Persona 4.

Xenoblade, hopefully Ill get some good gaming done, been a while since I could actually put a lot of time into anything.

Depends if I get anything for Christmas. If so it'll probably be that.
If not, I think I'll boot up the Metroid Prime Trilogy and try and complete Metroid Prime. I'll probably have to start again after getting a reasonable way in to it earlier in the year.
Or I might just play SM3DW.

Still be playing Destiny with my son, only get about 3-4 hours at the weekend due to his studies. Should get some serious time in during the holidays. Might pick up Until Dawn or Fallout 4, really depends on whether I completed my small backlog of PS4 games before my holidays start.

Hard to say. But I'm probably guessing it'll be Nintendo game on actual day, as of whole month most likely FFXIV, Fallout 4, Zelda: Triforce Heroes, Mario Kart 8 and possibly SSB.

Also Mario Tennis.

Unless games I play on Christmas but was also playing them pre-Christmas count. If they do, then it'll be Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 or Telltale's Game of Thrones.

I'm undecided at the minute, I normally plump for a Nintendo title (recent years have been great with Captain Toad / Super Mario 3D World etc) but there isn't that one title that does for me this year.

It'll probably be between: Last of Us (PS4), Tearaway Unfolded or Just Cause 3.

I always play through Donkey Kong Country and Zelda: ALLTP at Xmas time too :wub:

Not sure. Hopefully I'll get time to play something, but I'll be all over the place this xmas most likely, so sitting down by myself and plugging away at a game might be a big ask.

I'm still not on the next-gen train - I'm firmly on the Wii60 platform sans ticket. My backlog (not just games) makes buying a Wii U - which I've been sort-of-promising myself for months now - hard to justify. I've got Dishonored on the 360 totally untouched and Metroid Prime Trilogy barely played (about two hours into the first game). Plus I've not played MGS3 or the PSP one on the HD Collection - which itself was a xmas gift, a few years ago! :lol:

I did recently join Steam (yes I am that behind) so might treat myself to something from that - as after all I can take my laptop with me. Was thinking maybe Shovel Knight but I always thought I'd end up getting that on the Wii U. To be honest though, the way things are I might ask if I can swap my Yooka-Laylee kickstarter pre-order from Wii U to Stream and just wait for the next Nintendo console now. In which case the U will be the first Ninty home console I've missed.

But it seems like the next Smash Bros, Mario Kart etc. may well be out before I get time to sink my teeth into the current ones.

I've recently bought a USB Nintendo 64 pad so might finally replay Mystical Ninja. The N64 version can't ever be saved due to a total lack of working Controller Paks, and though I successfully modded a Wii to play old games it simply won't run most 64 titles, MNSG included. In fact, yeah, now that I write it out, I'm decided. I'm going to plug away at one of my all-time faves at some point this xmas. :wub:

I'm getting Windwaker HD, my son's getting Mario Maker and both he and his twin sister are getting Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire respectively.

A multitudinous abundance of Nintendo Magic there.

Fallout 4 and/or Just Cause 3

Would have been XCOM2 but that's now delayed until Q1 '16 so might get the new Rollercoaster Tycoon instead.

Got a massive backlog of games sitting in my Steam library though so I've got plenty to choose from already.

I'll be at home for Christmas week so I won't have my consoles. Which means I'll probably be playing Monster Hunter and something on the Vita
