What would you do with your lottery win?

(Inspired by the gaming and designer toys thread)

So if you had won that £95 million on Friday, what would you do? Obviously first on the list would be some sort of mansion etc, but after you've kitted it out with the best of everything and given massive amounts of cash to your friends and family and still have money to spend, what then? I would employ a bunch of sculptors and model makers to build me some full scale replicas of movie and game stuff... My list so far is:

(and remember these are full scale, made from fibre-glass, steel, whatever it takes!)

- The 1st Colossus
- The Millennium Falcon
- The Tumbler (drivable, obviously)
- 2 Warthogs (with working paintball cannons on the back)
- Delorean time machine
- R2-D2 and C3-P0
- Iron Man (Mk 3)
- Master Chief
- ED-209
- Wall-E

What else....?

Just to see the look on my family and friends face. Yeah im just off for a month with these blokes off the internet.

Most I'd put in the bank to accumulate interest, some would go to help my parents, and I'd spend a bit on me.

What ever happened to that missile silo that was on ebay? I'd get me one of those. Then become King of the world and money would be no object. It's called investing.

I'd finally be able to buy El Boat of Goat!

I would first make sure everyone i know and care about is looked after, thatsm ainly my parents, sister and a few friends, i would invest most of it, and have a few million to piss about with, a few crazy purchases, i would probabily get a massive strawberry float off hummer from america just to piss off the eco freaks, strawberry float should i care if i have to pay £300 a week on petrol!

I would also invest in the community, i would open up a cinema i think, as my town use to have one, but it got closed and turned into a pub, i wouldn't do nothing special, just about 4 screens showing a few of the new films and one of the screens dedicated for world releases!

Give 3 mil to my two best friends.
3 mil to my mum/dad and each of my 3 brothers
5 mil to proper charitys, cancer research, heart foundation etc.
Buy a Aston and a bunch of other big luxuries
Invest the rest
Start planning on what I want to do with the rest, probably open a shop or two in my home town and maybe fund a new magazine.

I'd give £1million to everyone (that's not already a millionaire) in the UK and then see what sort of effects that would have on the economy.

Still, let's get this in perspective - even conservative estimates put McCartney's personal wealth at around £600million, some as high as £900million.

What would I do with £95million? I think it would involve family, friends, solicitors, charities and estate agents. And a few rather enjoyable shopping trips. :lol:

Cancer charities would get a hefty donation from me. I'd also buy my closest mates a brand new car whatever they wanted. Family of course would be sorted. I'd buy a large house, somewhere in Cornwall, maybe somewhere in the US too. A boat, some cars (I don't see the point in owning a large range of cars) Bristol Rovers would get some financial boost too.

And I'd even give my ex-missus the twelve grand needed to take her autistic boy to the National Autistic Centre in the US that she used to discuss about. Not for her, it's all about the lad.

Actually, one thing I have always wanted to do was go up to a busker and give him a huge amount of cash - like a briefcase with £20,000 of notes in or something. Just to see the reaction.

I didn't realise we were using that figure, I just thought it was if you had an unlimited amount of money, because those full-scale models mentioned in the first post sounded as if they'd cost a lot more than £95m.

On my personal Millionaire list of things to do is:

1. Buy Rotherham United and give them their old ground back, together with a windfall for all the players if they escape relegation this season.

2. Sort out everything I owe and also share the love with family and a few select friends. I wouldnt take the piss, maybe just buy them a house each so they can pretty much live on easy street for the rest of their lives. Buy Delboy a Pub.

3. Give Doug Naylor all he needs to make the Red Dwarf Movie. I dont care how much it costs: I want a decent overall end to my 2nd favourite show. Id also finance a last ever episode of Teachers, just to tie things up and let Kurt and Brian come back from the dead!

4. Philanthropy. Id become the guy who gives money to all these patients who need life saving operations but cannot afford it. I wouldnt bother with charities (as you never quite know where the £££ is going) apart from friends of the peak district, whom I already donate to on a monthly basis.

95 million lottery tickets. I can't strawberry floating lose!
