For those that don't know, Sky will be airing the first ever 'rude' Simpsons at 9.30pm this Sunday. What time did this go out in the States then? Anyone seen it?

Love, Springfieldian Style

It's billed as the first "post-watershed" edition, but don't bank on anything scandalising. This Valentine's Day special parodies Bonnie and Clyde, Lady and the Tramp and Sid and Nancy. Do expect bloodless gunfire, canine smooching, chocoholism and liberal use of the word b******s

I've watched it. Don't really remember anything too bad...don'tthink it's a good episode either.

Anyone else noticed Channel 4 occasionally cut bits out of the Simpsons - sometimes really odd stuff. When I'm watching it I think...."I'm sure Bart said something else there". Maybe they could leave everything all in post watershed!

Yes. And it's highly annoying.

Channel 4 didn't wrote: Homer: Are we going to let politics get in the way of our friendship?
Ray Patterson: Friendship? You told people I lured children into my Gingerbread House!

People actually watch The Simpsons on Ch4?

Aren't they showing repeats of the same few episodes over & over again...have they even started to show any new episodes? (last I heard, they were 8+ seasons behind Sky/FOX)

There's the Bigger Brother episode where Homer confronts Bart and he says "Look at me, look at me. How can you even look at me?". The "How can you even look at me?" part has been cut from the episode every time I've seen it on Sky or C4.

They do it with Friends and Scrubs too, it's stupid most of the time.

The repeats are what I hope for. Every time they show a post-2000 episode I just leave the living room.
