I’ve been back on the Frosties the last few days. One of the few cereals that have yet to be strawberry floated up due to the sugar police.

Nowadays I make my own muesli mix and keep it soaking in the fridge to be eaten as breakfast throughout the week. It's often the tastiest thing I'll eat all day. Back when I'd eat branded cereals, Clusters were perhaps king. Specifally, the actual clusters themselves (although there was never enough of them in the packet). Golden Grahams and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes were also good. A bit later in life I really liked Bran Flakes (I'd have them with prunes, banana and yoghurt). Sometimes I'd gorge myself silly on cereal, I'd get such a craving for it.

Was never a big fan of Frosties or Coco Pops.

Kellogg’s Bran Flakes (Now a £1 in Poundland), Waitrose or Sainsbury’s Bran Flakes
Weetabix Organic (which do have a lighter taste to the original)
Kellogg’s All-Bran Golden Crunch
Honey Nut Shreaded Wheat
Oomf Protein Porridge
Lizi’s Protein Granola
Sainsbury’s Organic Oats
Rude Health Organic Granola
Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Chocolate & Orange Infused Granola
Nesquik about once a year. Still tastes like I remember as a kid.

Since I posted this back in 2018, I've dumped Oomf (too expensive, waste of plastic), Kellogg’s All-Bran Golden Crunch (now tastes stale, far too hard, and loaded with sugar) and Sainsbury's no longer make Chocolate & Orange Granola. Also swapped out Sainsbo's bran flakes for Tesco (much better).

Shreddies The Simple One isn't bad, though I try and avoid giving Nestle yet more money.

Benefit with red fruit from aldi. I think it's their version of special k. With milk. Very nice it is too.

Sometimes I have some peanut butter on brown toast or a bacon sarnie but benefit is my cereal of choice.

Do you microwave the weetabix?

I like a bowl of muesli.

Can you still get Start? That was always my favourite but not seen it in years.

Granola. Its 50/50 (at best) as to whether it will give me the gooseberry fools, but its totally worth it.

I rarely do breakfast but on the odd occasion where I do find myself having cereal I usually go for something like Shreddies (or an own brand version of it at least)
