Cereal doesn’t fill me up. I couldn’t imagine going to work on a bowl of coco pops. Bacon sandwich or some variety of eggs, every day.

We have a few weetabix in the cupboard, and sometimes we’ll buy M&S chocolate crunch for a treat. But cereal is snack food, not starting off the day nutrition.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, but only with semi-diluted evaporated milk from a tin, plus ice cubes for freezing cold, extra creamy milk. Sublime.

This but the Chocolate and Hazelnut version is my treat cereal at weekends. Rest of the time it's healthy no added sugar Alpen.

I like the Special K (or supermarket's own) with dried red berries, but you get like one berry per bowl so I like to add extra freeze dried strawberries.

I'm not much of a breakfast person though, so I tend to eat cereal as an evening snack.

The real question is why are breakfast bowls so big! And why does every cereal box show a full bowl! Have you ever actually measured one service? It’s quite a sad amount!

Haha it really is, the wife has whatever the serving says on the back and it looks like there is nothing in the bowl.
