I did my course 24 years ago and it was something of a proprietary one. It was called CAD and Construction. I chose it because my mates dad was doing it and it looked interesting so her I have in an established Irish Engineering firm doing CAD.
I've worked in/for: Dublin City Council - (Anglian Water specifically who won a contract here) 2 Construction Companies Architectural Practice Dublin Airport Services Engineering firm.
Not a single qualification to my name and Technical Manager for an air conditioning and process cooling company who specialise in business-critical applications.
No degree, I dropped out. Uni just wasn't for me, the whole time I was there I was miserable. Getting out and getting employed was easily the smartest decision I've ever made.
I work in the civil service, it's the first and only job I've ever had.
