Just before I saw this I was scouring play for some DVD Bargains. Found Batman Begins for £5 and hellboy for £2.99. What does annoy me is that when I order box sets they always come damaged as the cardboard becomes rather tatty. Also I see Mammia Mia is £12.99 when I've seen it on the TV for £10 at Woolworths.
Amazon are also now using Indigostarfish to sell all their DVDs who are based in Jersey which means they take longer. My amazon book order on Sunday arrived this morning whilst the DVDs have only been dispatched today. I paid for First Class delivery aswell though that was because I needed the book as soon as possible.

Woolworths are having a fire sale because they are in so much debt. The only way they can hope to keep the company going is by selling things at the cheapest possible margin and hope that the sheer volume of sales drives sales up to the point where they can start re paying what they owe.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.
