I'm sticking with No Vote.

I don't think we learn enough from relying on anyone else's intuition at this point.

Stick me down for no vote / random kill. Since any elected leader will be making a random kill anyway, this way removes the day 2 “loose end” nonsense where we kill the previous leader “just in case”

I don't think that's a fair assumption at all. If it's one per squad it would be really obvious when a squad should fire their flair and therefore defies the point of them. It would also immediately clear the whole rest of a squad if an enemy was killed.

Edit: Oops, wrong account :fp:

Yes, I agree with this, there’s no way it’s just 1 from each group, that would give the humans a huge advantage.

I don't know the current vote standings, but I'll switch to Nun if it avoids a random kill.

I think most squads have probably /at least/ one wolf. I don't think every squad has exactly one, for the reasons you say. But there is no way of knowing how they are distributed at the moment, hence the best guess at saying 1 per squad.

Orange (Kill Cribb) - Orange, False, Nun, Luke, Sat, Errkal
No AC (random kill)- Hexx, Mog, Minoru, Denster, Cribbs, Jen, Daz
Tomous (Kill Edd)
Nun (Kill Mini E, Dan or Hyperion)

Make it 7-6 for random kill, and none for Tomous or Nun

False

Can you put yourself forward AND for someone else? Surely by stepping forward Nun's vote for Orange should transfer to Nun?

I vote for Orange.

While him and no AC are basically the same thing at this stage in terms of what info we use to lynch someone, I think having an AC is needed in case we might miss out on an event. Plus, info in the thread is all most of us have to go on, so letting whatever the bad guys are have days where they don't have to vote seems flawed.

Edit: Just realised I missed the deadline. :fp:

No vote - Hexx, Mog, Minoru, Cribs, Jen, Daz, Denster

Orange - Orange, False, Luke, Sat, Errkal, (Sykes)

Nun - Nun

Tomous - Tomous

I make it 6-5 to "No vote", 6-6 if including Sykes' vote (which came in after the deadline).

EDIT: Missed Denster, so definite win for No vote

DOUBLE EDIT: Congrats on the random kill wolves

From the last count and the discussion surrounding it, I accept the majority voted to have no Acting Commander.

So... if Sykes vote counts (there was suggestion of a degree of flexibility over the timings) that would be 7-7 between "No Vote" and Orange.

However if we assume that Nun's vote for Orange was removed when Nun went forward for Commander that would still leave it 7-6 in favour of "No Vote"...

Unless I've missed something?

You've caused tension in the Delta squad Scott

Back to the game in general, how sure are we going to have to be before shooting the flare as a squad? If we're assuming about 4 evils (reasonable given numbers of players) and about 1 per squad (not proven but approximately) could we just shoot flares in any squad that kills their wolf? Will squads be changing during the game?

EDIT: just spitballing here, what are the chances one squad is entirely made of wolves? I guess we'd find out pretty quickly if nobody died from one squad though

Please forgive me

I don't think any squad wants to fire their flare until we think /every/ wolf has been killed. There is no value in firing a flare while there are still wolves in play, unless you're a wolf (as I understand it)

I know it was Day 1 so we weren't really up to speed but I don’t think the no AC/random approach is the way to go at all. We will lose a player randomly later and gain nothing from it.

To progress, we really need people coming forward with lynch platforms so we can force discussion and participation (which helps draw the bad guys out into the open) and also build up voting lists for review down the line. Hopefully we can be a bit more prepared for tomorrow's vote.

As firing flares is a key way town can influence the game I'd bet money on them activating events (whether these help the town or not would remain to be seen, but I'd like to think so)

Otherwise you're right and I don't think there is much incentive to fire any flares until we're 99% certain (but then again doesn't the game just end if all wolves are killed)

This premise is really confusing but really interesting

Ah! I always enjoy a good drone strike.

You rush around the hillside to find the dust settling around the unlucky soldier. The explosion has shredded him into charred little pieces.

He was a good man. He had a family. He didn't deserve this.

He was
