Okay, so yesterday after I put myself forward to run as AC on a platform of dunking Mog, I was contacted by two seer circles. One had a biologist who said Mog had come back as infected. The other was the circle involving Gamma_Dan, Mog, and an unknown lieutenant (presumably Dan managed to save him using his patrol last night). Dan was the one who contacted me, and after I told him that the other circle had confirmed Mog as infected he rightly predicted that their circle would be targeted for kills.
Now, the problem here is that Mog didn't appear to be infected on his death, but the wolves somehow still knew the identity of the people in the circle (I'm guessing Pancake might have been a part of it too, but Dan never mentioned having a sniper among them). My theory is that on jumping into the maelstrom and going hot-blooded, the wolves gained access to his account to be able to read PMs and such, gaining knowledge of the circle. In-game this might be explained by the infected having a hivemind or something. So basically, Mog wasn't a true wolf, he was just an unwitting mole.

Does this not mean said biologist could either be infected (and doesn't know) or be a dodgy biologist role like the drunk sherriff style role where they get things wrong?

Iron also confirmed Mog as showing signs of infection though, and my contact from the other circle assured me that Iron wasn't their biologist, so unless we had two drunk biologists (which seems very unlikely) then the point stands.

That's a very good point, I must've missed that in my confusion.

My guess is that on dunking him the wolves lost access to Mog's account, hence why they offed him soon afterwards seeing as he had a power role.

I'm having trouble keeping up with everything that is going on in this game.

We have until 2PM to elect an AC correct?

Yeah, 2PM deadline for AC. Not sure if anyone's made a platform yet.

I'll try and make a summary of events so far to help people catch up, brb

Okay, so:

-Mario and Qikz have both been dunked and turned cold blooded. Mario was later abducted and thrown in the maelstrom, presumably by the cult.
-Me, Gamma_Growth and Lambda_Sat went to check out the downed plane. Growth managed to get the flight recorder thing and we got some other documents to go with it. These were later decoded:
The decoded data from the flight is available. The cargo manifest indicates that, as well as various pieces of equipment, the explosives were intended to be enough to destroy all routes out of Amsoldingen. The recording of the pilot's comms indicate that he attempted to complete the delivery even after discovering that his co-pilot had been infected. You do not know exactly why this mission was taking place, nor do you know how to help your comrades in Omega Squad, as their orders were tampered with.

Yesterday Day Phase:
-I ran on a platform of dunking Mog, at the last minute Iron stepped up and revealed himself as a biologist, confirming that Mog was showing signs of infection and also claiming Orange was infected too. We elected Iron.
-Mog was dunked and returned to normal temperature.
-Delta_Hype strawberry floated up and Ariel punished him by leaking a PM revealing him as a cultist; the PM also stated an interest in keeping Mog alive.
-Soon afterwards Lambda_Clark dragged Hype up to a hill, killed him and then killed himself. They were revealed as Cult Leader and Cultist respectively. It's not known if there are anymore cultists out there.

Yesterday night phase:
-A sniper killed Iron, confirmed as biologist.
-Wolves (presumably) killed Gamma_Dan (patrol officer/witch doctor), Delta_Mog (Tracker, also didn't flag as infected) and Gamma_Pancake (Sniper). Dan and Mog had been part of the same seer circle.

I think that's just about everything.

Best course of action now imo would be to follow up on Iron's lead and dunk Orange. I know Gamma_Irene's running on dunking a confirmed infected person but hasn't said who, so I'll stand on dunking Orange unless it turns out that's who Irene wants to dunk.

If Irene is dunking orange - I’ll vote Irene. If he’s not I’ll vote you

I’ve completely lost what lines of enquiry we have. So much stuff happened last night I’m struggling to get my head around who told who what etc. It is strange the sniper would hit a biologist. This means either the sniper was bad or turned. Doubt the infected would start with powers so it’s possible they keep them after infection.

But I’m sure the dunking is a good thing for us, it has to kill parasites. Game would be impossible otherwise.

And why is Gamma squad barely touched whilst Sigma is decimated?

Probably because whoever the infected are want to make people look at Gamma squad. I came back cold blooded and someone contacted me saying that I'd been hit by a biologist, whether or not I can trust said person I don't know.

I think the Orange thing is the best lead we have and so it makes sense to pursue that. Irene doesn’t seem to be here so I’ll vote Rick.

I don't know where my post went, but basically I said I wonder why only a few members of sigma are still alive. It could either mean that the remaining members are parasites (although then killing all of sigma would be a mistake as they're showing themselves) or it means likely the people left in Sigma are not infected, perhaps with 1 being infected hiding in plain sight.
