Also a little suspicious of Rik suddenly posting when he was in the frame for a dunking, but again he was up for lynch by Ted which also suggests he's innocent.

Tldr: This is a pickle

That was pre-maelstrom - if he does turn out to be a parasite, I'd wager he was human to start but turned after jumping in and becoming a hotblood.

I don't think dunking Mog is really the right move.
He is the only one that is "hot blooded" but we dont know what that means, I would personally go for a no dunk based on the facts we don't really know what dunking does, don't know what hot blooded is and if we dunk willy nilly we risk reducing numbers with nothing to show for it.
We are very much in the dark right now and hopefully something will come from the decoding and the order sheet thing but right now I dont think dunking people is really a cracking move.

True, that's possible, although Psykes was human and got killed by it, although that suggests that Mog is not to survive it, or it could be like the pool where the first in gets different treatment to subsequent.
Bit unfair to be creating more wolves really

The descriptions were different for the two of them - Mog was "accepted readily" as the first one to jump but Psykes got battered by the currents and started screaming in pain. So it's probably like the cold pool in that it can heat one person up per day (although unlike the cold pool it clearly kills subsequent jumpers).

I can't see how no-dunking full stop is the correct move. If we did that we're just standing still whilst being picked off. Dunking, as far as we know, doesn't do anything to humans (at least not bog standard ones), whereas it may kill wolves

Wrong acccount, however.

Wasn't Mario dunked, become cold blooded then died? Or have I gotten mixed up ?

Seemingly, but I'm not sure. We got a weird vortex instead of a blood splat, the text never explicitly said he was dead and he's not crossed off from the OP. Although if Karl's not feeling too good that might just be an oversight.

Ooops :fp:
Mario got thrown into the maelstrom and would appear to have died as his role was named.
Now whether this was because he was human or cold blooded, we don't know

Coming up to 3, so just a reminder to vote for me for supreme leader AC so we can give Mog his bath
(although this is a democracy so speak up if you've got better plans)

This, basically. I'll say what I said before: we've got no knowledge of what these statuses mean, the COLD BLOODED status has demonstrated that it does not provide protection from death, and the only instance we have of a character in the game having any form of protection was the old scientist who had been exposed to the creatures - possibly via the same mechanism as the maelstrom.

We've lost way too many people to throw away a shot at protection on a hunch.

Someone needs to go through the posts since this morning and tally up everyone who has indicated a preference for a candidate.

Doing nothing is completely unproductive though - it's better to find out what happens than just sitting here twiddling our thumbs learning nothing new.

As far as I'm aware nobody else has actually stood for AC, will double check
Edit - nope, while Mog and Clark are against chucking Mog in nobody else has stood for AC (unless I missed it) and I have three votes (four if I can vote for myself)

Is it too late for me to put myself forward for AC?

I have some extremely useful info which is likely to get me killed.
