Edit: had an inkling that is some kind of coded message but can't imagine how anyone could decipher that.

Doesn't take much to figure out does it? It's a garbled version of the previous text: "The village was first referred to as "der Zwieselberg" in 1345, but humans have inhabited the area since the Bronze Age."

I know its the same message but I wonder if the way it is garbled actually means something, maybe KP is just strawberry floating with us.

Drone malfunctioning shouldn't be happening given this is seemingly a biological threat, so something else must be interfering with it.
My guess is eldritch gods, the larvae are going to turn out to be Ctulhu babbies and one of us needs to eat some umbilical cords to get eyes on the inside to make sense of it all.

I rode through there on my motorbike a couple of years ago. It's a nice area, nice lakes, and I didn't see any parasites.

Sigma_Al, overcome with grief, has shot himself. He was also a HUMAN who was a LOVER.

Lover might mean Other has killed himself/herself

Never a good sign when the first kills of the night had special roles... Ariel likes to end on a big finale...
