I'm so suspicious of this, like it looks like (very good) A.I.

Her right hand is so blurred compared to Louis' jumper pattern.
And Louis is missing an index finger and has crossed middle fingers with his ring finger.

I forget the name of their daughter (Charlotte?), but my wife pointed out the sleeve of her jumper by her left hand. It's been photoshopped, but I can't work out why they'd photoshop that part of the photo.

I'm not into conspiracy theories, but I'm 76.3% convinced that they are trying to cover up her murder using the Weekend At Bernie's playbook.

Is there a chance at all that it isn't necessarily an AI modified image, but is a photo taken with one of those "best face" merge options? I.e. it takes a scattergun of several photos, then merges them to create one (admittedly still fake) image where everyone is looking / smiling?

Always a good idea to send out a Photoshopped photo when people are already thinking something is up. They'll probably wheel her out in a few days to do a very short interview looking very unwell which will cause more questions.

I think something like this is pretty likely. Pretty much every press photo the royal family release is going to have been photoshopped to some degree. The problem they've run into is the fact she hasn't been seen in public since her operation, so people are going to suddenly latch onto to the gooseberry fool edits they've done of the staged candid shot where "everything is definitely fine, honest".
