I just saw that Game still has the Special Edition for Bravely Second for preorder for a not unreasonable price. I'm a sucker for special editions... and it's sold out everywhere here in the Netherlands. But, since I'm completely clueless when it comes to UK webshops, I thought I'd ask around here first: how are Game when compared to other UK webshops, price-wise and reliability-wise?
Do you know any better places that still take preorders?

Dandy, I've found game.co.uk to be generally reliable - the vast majority of my orders over the yeasr have been delivered without any problem. But... HOLD IT!! Looking at game.co.uk's product description for the Bravely Second Collectors Edition, it indicates that deliveries of the item will only be made within the UK.

The Nintendo Online UK Store are also selling the pack (with a bonus downloadable costume set) but, again, only for UK delivery.

God damn it, bastards!

Thanks, Jawa...

Meh... I guess it's for the best, these special editions are a waste of money anyway, last thing I need is more tat, mumble mumble....

I know I'll be playing it for months. Months in which I need no other 3DS games.

It's an investment!

Dandy, I've just spotted that The Game Collection are sellng the Collectors Edition for £69.99 and they will ship to Europe. But... they charge extra for postage. Most items are two pounds extra but they say special editions could be fifteen quid extra; you'd have to go through the order process to be sure.

A new option for you!

Thanks, Jawa! In the meantime I found a Dutch webshop that had some extra stock, so it should be delivered soon. Good thing I almost finished Mario & Luigi...

It arrived!

The box is much bigger than I expected....

The inside, a picture in the lid, the game, soundtrack and figurine

The artbook is at the bottom of the box

The artwork on the cover. (The orange spots are strange reflections of the light, they're not actually on the cover).

That's a great collection of photos, Dandy! It looks like a cool set and the figurine is neat. Are you planning to start the game now or leave it for a while?

I want to finish Mario & Luigi first. I think I'm almost at the end but one can never be completely sure with this game...

I played the demo of this yesterday and was very surprised!

I didn't think I would like it. I want to buy one of the games. Which is better? Is there any issue story wise playing the second game without playing the first?

I have yet to start Bravely Second, so I can't say for sure how big the impact is but it is a continuation of Bravely Default with some of the same characters and (to an extent at least, I think) same locations.

Bravely Default is a huge game, I took my (with the limited time I have for games) months to finish, especially if you do a lot of side missions what I like to do. I expect the same to be true for Bravely Second. Maybe you can get Default first (has it come down in price yet?) and if you like it you can still get Second?

I got tired of Bravely Default a bit into chapter 5. Up until then it was a 10/10 game that just kind of imploded in on itself so I just learned what I needed to know and decided to wait for the sequel to fix itself.

So... is anyone else playing this? It has the same system as Bravely Default, you can 'send' moves and receive them from people on your friend list to use during a battle. The way it's set up is different though, you have to choose to be either host or client in the communication. Which may mean that you have to be online at the same time and then make a coordinated effort to exchange data...

(I have to say though, I'm currently only playing the demo - it may be different in the actual game).
