He was at a wedding recently and I saw him shouting at the father of the bride who had dared to ask about cameras:

B-b-but photos of your daughter! Your son-in-law! Camera so sinpl3!

Bitch why don't you climb into a hole with your SLR and just die? Maybe some people WANT to be mugged and raped to death, ever think about that? Ever think that no one wants to pay for cheap photos and people want to get ripped off? As far as I'm concerned many of us are incredibly happy with the simplicity of phone cameras and this is a small price we pay to support mah Samsung's and Apple's, we need more adverts, higher prices and Apple Stores in order to o support those huge marketing costs that are paid to the phone companies. Apple are doing an amazing job and your Leica SLR is gump.

Lol casual scum plebs actually have this opinion and reasoning.

The father was then spluttering about how much he was paying for this wedding and that he didn't like the tone Silva was using.

quiet you humourless old man. Wasn't being a dick to anyone, turn down your stupidity please.

Amazingly, 10 months later the same family booked Silva for the Christening.

I've little doubt that he's still out there, somewhere, dishing out some $ilva branded justice.

I used to get on great with him. He pmed me when I was leaving my wife and gave me solid advice. In his own inimitable fashion. Sadly, as time went on I commented a few times on his various feuds and arguments and as a result then became a focus for some of them. His trick of combing your posting history and then picking up on what you'd say across several threads (usually whilst clearly strawberry floating bombed on whatever recreational stuff he was on) went through degrees of being amusing, diverting and entertaining all the way through to irritating, frustrating and discomforting. He needed reining in a lot - rightly so but in the end he just couldn't help himself. Often a great character and a real tonic and diverting personality but too often for me and others (Was it PeterCrisp) he was vindictive and downright nasty. A real soap box standing guy. Happy to give his opinions, often with with hilarious results. But not if he didn't like you. In the end - I'd found him pretty much intolerable and made no secret I was glad he's gone. Shame really.

I didn't have that much interaction with him but thought he was pretty funny and obviously quite intelligent. Could go way overboard with his arguments though.

Plus we have a thread like this years later and we all still remember him, that's probably a pretty good sign that he was at least entertaining.

Yep.He did add something to the place. Part of the rich tapestry. Plus the ignore button was invaluable when he really went off.

Never had a problem with the guy, we played a ton of left 4 dead together and he was always funny. He did get a bit offensive i guess for some but it never bothered me when chatting. I did see quite a few aggressive back and forth posts on here though so i guess that's gradually why he was warned and then banned.

strawberry float yeah, loved that stuff. I remember before L4D came out we spent ages just on the demo which i think was about half a map. I still have some steam images and random stuff somewhere from all the stupid deaths, usually involves me shotgunning someone by accident

I defended him mod side forever and then warned him once or something. He just decided to disappear.

And no I wasn't banned, I didn't throw my toys out of the pram and get myself banned, I just left because of the censorship and crying. The good stuff is still there on pcs mumble, and I still see the same crew playing online, just don't have the time or my pc to join in.

:) I'm managing a studio now, free boudoir shots for you if you're still up for it, turned you down last time, but I got more hands on experience now and can get you the shots you wanted.

Sony is a joke, no sane person would set a studio up with Sony equipment.

Nikon or canon only. Also from the past studios I've managed to when in, also only nikon or canon.
