Which console shall I take to uni?

I'd take the 360. FIFA is the new PES, so is the ultimate student game. Besides, I understand you're pretty nifty at it, so should be able to hammer the average student.

I was gonna say Wii and 360, but a lot of people will take that as a sign of being a total geek.

Maybe take the Megadrive, if you have four pads and Micromachines? Awesome laugh, that is. Oooh, oooh. Scrap that, take the N64 and Mario Kart!

But you can play MK64 on the wii. (And Micro machines, too)

Why was that worrying? If you enjoy doing stuff you've done you shouldn't worry about feeling like a total geek. Shouldn't matter in College/uni.

Anyway good choice of Wii/360/N64 mix. Was going to say Wii (+ SDHC for MK64 and other N64 games for multiplayer) & 360 for Fifa.

You're right, I just don't think it'd set a very good impression on fresher's week. But if you're not a geek, people will soon find out.

Then again, cool and geek can go together. 8-)

Wii - loads of multi player games, good source of fun when you are trying to play wii sports etc when drunk.

if you find one or two people who are keen on fifa etc then bring your 360/ps3 down

360 and N64. My mate swears by his Wii, but you can't beat a bit of Nazi Zombies and Goldeneye.

All of the above! In all seriousness, how much space does a console take up? You can be the dude with everything - at least take all the current gen stuff and then see what folk in halls have and scrub-up on what will become the game you all play (for us it was Pro-Evo, not my choice, but it was the universal game of halls and therefore being a 'decent game' was mandatory).

Have you stayed in halls? They're tiny, and consoles really do take up more room than you think, especially in rooms that aren't designed with fitting many electronic items in mind. Plus, being the dude with everything can either make you look incredibly spoilt, or like a massive nerd who everyone will assume they'll never see anything of.
