Which console shall I take to uni?

(Because yes, I'm going to stay longer than two hours this time)

(And because yes I am a geek and want to play games at uni)

Xbox 360 to brush up on them FIFA skills.

It'll be something to play with friends as well.

Older PS3's double-up as nice fan heaters.

So take one of those.

PS3 because it's the best console this gen.

I picked 360 and SNES. The 360 just because that's what I'd take, and the SNES because in my time at uni, loads of people had Mega Drives knocking around, but nobody ever had a SNES, so you'll be edgy and different and therefore popular.

If you make the wrong choice just swap them next time you go home...

PS3, because then you'll have a console there, but it won't be distracting you, because it has NO GAEMS.

A Wii too, because I had one in my first year at uni, and it went down a ball with everyone. Wii Sports makes for an awesome after pub activity.

Whatever you do you MUST take your Nintendo Wii! The first year is about making friends and a wider circle of friends. The more people you know the more girls you can have as friends and from there... your 3 years is rosey. The Wii is a great ice breaker. Let your room be the hang out place where the girls can drop by. Just think about it, four uni girls in your room playing party games jumping up and down. Life can be soooooo good.

360 for all this gens games
and a PS2 for some of the best games last gen and games for the gen before

Though the wii is a good choice if you have party games, cause girls lovep arty game and you should be sleepign around as much as possible in your first year; STD's are a popular I hear

360 and N64 I reckon.

360 so you can play FIFA and NHL with us chumps. N64 so you can have awesomes GoldenEye and Mario Kart sessions with your roomies.

Wii because you can play all those Virtual Console games, Gamecube and ofcourse Wii games!

Agree. Although my reasons for taking the PS3 is that it also offers you free on-line play, what with you being a poor student and all.
