I'm bringing down the DS, wii and 360 after Fresher's week.
360 for Fifa, wii for the hilarity and the DS for Mario and Luigi 3 and Layton 2.

Can't go wrong with either a wii/360 and a SNES, though.

Edit- Bear in mind there are Fire Emblem games for the wii and DS. :P

Whichever one has the most 4-player games, because online play in halls isnt a given and you will want some social games to play with your roomies.

The one console I wish I had back when I first started Uni (2002) was a PSP given it has home console games, portable games and all the media capabilities. At that time I took my Cube because I knew Nintendium was perfect for any transportation knocks and it was small. I used to ferry it between Chelmsford and Derby every holiday in a DJ flight case.

Xbox 360 because you'll need something to impress the ladies with

That's right, I've had red ring of death FIVE times! Now, to the bedroom?

1. You have too many consoles.
2. Personally I have a 360 at uni and the family has one at home. As the HDD is so easy to take off and "home" is roughly 2000 miles from uni, this is awfully convenient.

Although I'm taking my PS3 to uni too.

And now I think of it, why is there no poll option to falcon punch your wannabe-pregnant girlfriend in the womb?

I'm out (again)

There's no need to be here any longer than necessary. Let's split up, look for survivors, and get out of here.

I have a gaming blog too. Read it if you wish; if you don't I won't take it too personally. Metro 2033 is shite!

Thanks for the opinions guys, (well apart from the 'lolz go shag girls and get drunk' and 'you have too many consoles lolz' ones). I've decided to take the wii for the TV we have in our communal area, and the 360 and n64 for my room.

C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!

Perfect mix, those three, y'ask me. The N64 is going to be essential for old-school split screen gaming. Thems were the days.

360 and Wii.

Obvious combination, Wii can be used for old games as well as new stuff and the 360 for the big current gen titles.

I've got my 360 at university. As long as you're sure you can connect it to Live and are prepared on the Gold side of things, I'd say it's your best bet. As for retro console, I've voted N64. Though the SNES will probably make you seem more awesome.

To be honest it might sound a bit harsh but i would'nt consider taking any consoles, It's just a really big distraction and you'll be so busy with all the work & party's you got. =)
At least i'm going from my experience and and I know mine work improved when I quit xbox + world warcraft. :shifty:
