With the 50th anniversary of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band upon us, which is your favourite Beatles Album? Everyone will have a favourite and I don't think you could ever get everyone to agree to one being the absolute best. Sgt Pepper is the most acclaimed, but I wouldn't say it's my favourite one.

Mine is Abbey Road, mainly because my mum had it on vinyl and up until then I'd only really listened to compilation tapes of their stuff, never a proper body of work. I also love rubber soul and Revolver, Fantastic albums. The earlier stuff I don't really care for, although there's some classics hidden in there.

Also obligatory:

Beatles? Meh.

They've always been one of those 'great bands' that I have no interest in, I'm too young to have heard their music at the time of release and I wasn't exposed to it growing up as neither of my parents particularly like them.

Most of their stuff just sounds extremely dated and doesn't appeal to me at all.

I like Rubber Soul but obviously the answer is the Best of the Beatles.

Hard to choose between Rubber Soul and Revolver. The two albums where The Beatles came into their own, moving away from the early pop covers but before the weird experimental stuff that would be included in most of the albums that follow. Two flawless albums.

Revolver's their best. Tomorrow never knows is an absolute classic.

Pretty much this.

I also had to practice Beatles songs when I was learning the guitar at the age of 10 so I have a built-in dislike of them.

Revolver is mind altering. Best pop record of all time; the Beatles at their most creative.

I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and all, but I don't know how anyone could call something like helter skelter dated. It's strawberry floating incredible.

I've never listened to a Beatles album. Yes some of their big hits but never sat and listened to an album.
