Death Stranding

Kojima is a genius, and every game (barring the incomplete Phantom Pain) has been a masterpiece. The tone of the trailer really hit me, and the sight of the 5 figures hovering in the background sent a shiver down my spine. My second most eagerly awaited game after Mass Effect Andromeda.

Forza Horizon 3

I've been very critical of Microsoft's first party output this generation, but the Forza series has retained it's prestige, the setting looks brilliant It's been a long time since I've bought a racing game, but this could get me back into the genre.

Spider-man

I usually ignore these superhero games (as I do with the movies), but this looks incredible. Well animated with a detailed open city and some fantastic and varied action, this could be my first superhero games since Xmen: Children of the Atom.

I haven't taken much notice of E3 this year, but Spider-man looks amazing. I hope it plays as great as it looks.

Spider-Man. Love the character, and love a well done super hero game, which sadly there's not too many examples of.

Forza Horizon 3. Everything about it looked so good.

Spider-Man is the main on for me, it looks fantastic and with Insomniac at the helm I have faith that this will be Marvel's 'Arkham Asylum'

Dead Rising 4, Zelda: BotW, RE7 and Days Gone are also high on my hype list

God of War
- Not played any in the series before but thought this was an ace gameplay demo. The bit at the end when the dragon flies from the horizon over the screen looked stunning.

Days Gone
- Really intriguing looking game even if it does look a little like a Last of Us simulator.

Spiderman
- It just looked fun, obviously a long way off but in terms of getting across the vibe of a character and joy of movement he's going to give you in that game world, this was near perfection

The new Berserk game because oh God yes Berserk.
God of War because I enjoyed the others and this looks like a needed improvement.
Dead Stranding because Hiddy is king.
Resident Evil because I like the return to horror rather than Gears with zambabos. Bit worried it's going too far since Resi has always had some level of action, but we'll see.

I think everything else was known about for a while.

Death Stranding - It's hard to get too excited about this considering how early in development it is, but the trailer was very well put together and as a fan of Kojima's previous work, I'm intrigued to see what he cooks up now that his ties to Metal Gear Solid have been severed.

GWENT: The Witcher Card Game - I loved playing Gwent within The Witcher 3 so I'm excited to see how they adapt it to a multiplayer environment. The single-player element is an unexpected addition and it's apparently very expansive too. As always, CDPR aim to overachieve even with this small title that started out as a mini-game, and I'm so in. I'm slightly concerned that it won't be very popular and I won't have many people to play against though.

Spider-Man
- I think Spidey is the superhero whose powers create the biggest opportunity for a good game with fun traversal, and with Insomniac making this, I'm hopeful they can capture what made Spider-Man 2 so great on the PS2 but also go a lot further.

Observer - All it really takes for me to get immediately excited about something is for a developer to utter the word Cyberpunk, or at least have footage of a game invoke that vibe. I've always said I'd one day push myself to play more horror games so with the aesthetic getting its hooks into me already, maybe this will be one of the first I try.

Dishonored 2 is the game I'm most interested in.

I want that Pokemon game and I will probably try the new Zelda as well.

Of games that were never-before-seen/completely new:

Grow Up

I absolutely fell in love with Grow Home - it looked charming enough, but I still wasn't prepared for just how much enjoyment I got out of playing the original through. Which makes finding out there is a sequel, and seeing it on such a larger scale than the original, all the more exciting.

Days Gone

Two things you should know about me: I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic fiction and things involving zombies, and I have loved the last 5 games released by Studio Bend, the devs behind Days Gone. It might look unashamedly like TLOU, but I'm confident that the open world and horde-style zombies will differentiate the experience enough to still be fresh. But this is made by the people who made 3 of the best PSP games and one of the best Vita games - it's in safe hands.

Death Stranding

Kojima you beautiful man of course I am going to play your next game. And with Norman Reedus too!

Steep

Steep looks like the spiritual successor to SSX3 I have always wanted - one massive mountain range with the freedom to enjoy it at your own pace. It looks like it might be a perfect game for taking a load off and losing myself in nature. Electronically recreated nature.

There are a load of other games I am hyped for, but we'd already seen them at least partly before (even Zelda, despite it basically being a reveal).

Battlefield 1 Big time looking forward to this.

Resident Evil 7 Glad it's going back to the 'creepy house' vibe and hopefully get the series back on track after the woeful 6th episode.

I cant' tell if its cos of my age but truly only game I'm dying to play is Battlefield 1, COD has gone so far up its own ass that the difference is staggering.

I was excited for Recore but think it looks like a bizarre get force gemini clone, its cut price is also a worry. I'll get Dead Rising 4, for the lols and xmas feels, plus unlike many, I found 3 to be the best in series (only one I finished).

Forza Horizon 3 is close to B1 in terms of excitement but not quite, the fantastic Forza Horizon 2 has me convinced 3 will be nothing less than stunning.

We happy few is a survival sim, so adding in this dystopian mix is interesting, you have to keep up appearances and survive while out and about. Looks gorgeous and ill be getting when it shows up on preview program.

For 2017, State of Decay 2 will be number 1 on the list.
