Me.

I have a DSi but literally ONLY use it for Pokemon.

Im perfectly happy with the amount of 'core' games available as I dont have the time to rush tnrough them all like the fanboys did and so have nothing to complain about. Im on 50 hours on Okami and am still finding sidequests to do.

There might be a ton of minigame crap but I always have the option of not buying them.

I see nothing of interest on the 360 (although I appreciate the quality) and only WipEout HD allures me to PS3, but I cant play that because the forum will banish me for kicking cooldawns ass every week.

These days though Im normally more than happy playing on my Dreamcast.

Obviously I don't fit into this group.

However I will say in all seriousness, I would rather have only a Wii than only a PS3.

I have a XBOX 360 and a Wii, but rarely play the 360.

Games such as Wii Sports, and online Mario Kart have given me more opportunity to play with friends than the past 20 years of gaming put together. Now even my family wants to play.
Most of the time it's Wii Sports which everyone enjoys, and when we're physically bored of waving our arms around it's 4 player Mario Kart/Tetris, or online.

I would gladly only have a Wii this generation.

They are far, far more tight-lipped and secretative than they ever were in the n64 days - 'we've got this game called ocarina of time coming up, erm it will out in about three years.... Nintendo are't going to let you know of anything new before e3 so I really don't see how you can possibly say that nothing interesting is on its way.

Well, I hope you're right; that there is something of note on the way. But I'm worried all they'll "reveal" at E3 is more Sports Resort nonesense and... er, that's about it. Their performance last year (which hinged cringeworthily on Wii Music) was awful, and not a good sign if you ask me. I'm worried they're out of ideas or just more interested in sitting back a letting crap third party stuff swamp the Wii in hope that it'll sustain the rolling in of dollars. The current growing plethora of old games with lazy motion sensor "action" tacked-on is a joke of a money-spinner, and doesn't hold much hope for me at all.

We shall see.

Oh, and in hindsight, I quite liked the "leave them hanging" approach of the N64 days. At least we had something to look forward to, have faith that something great is on the way and take great satisfaction when they delivered. I'm much more cynical about their approach with the Wii, but maybe that's because I'm older and "wiser".

There's no need to be here any longer than necessary. Let's split up, look for survivors, and get out of here.

I have a gaming blog too. Read it if you wish; if you don't I won't take it too personally. Metro 2033 is shite!
