I'm really impressed with what they've done with the Luminous engine, those in-engine cut-scenes are close to Advent Children in terms of quality.

Seeing as we've now seen quite a few areas and 2 English trailers would a 2015 release be a realistic expectation?

This will be the game of the forever but I can't help but think that the scrapping looks kinda basic. Is it based on Kingdom Hearts or something?

This game looks awesome, but I can't help but feel it would benefit from less Anime hair/voice overs.

I stopped playing JRPGs pretty much exactly the time they introduced voice overs. The majority of the anglicised VOs are strawberry floating atrocious; rather than recording the dialogue in the tembre of English they try to directly translate the Japanese version, characteristic Japanese ticks and all, which makes for an extremely awkward performance. Just read the lines like you would on any other western game! Why include voice patterns and intonations that make no sense attached to English utterances?!

Urgh.

I know its an old argument but why are people always bashing FF games for having strong Japanese influences from clothing etc? What would they rather? If it looks like everything else then will be branded generic, FF cant win with the bitter internet generation.

Its the same argument as the West rehashing boring FPSs etc, as everyone already knows.

Ridiculous, I've not always been a fan of Final Fantasy, I can love one game then hate the follow up, but I've always loved the art style.

Why? Because they're all wearing black?

Looks good but not enough for me to buy FF Type 0 for the demo

I'd be much more likely to buy this if I played and enjoyed the demo.
I am however not more likely to buy FF Type 0 to play the demo.

I'll be waiting for the reviews I guess.

Looks ok, not seen anything that makes me want to rush and buy it! More interested in the demo for FF15 however I'll wait and see more about Type 0 before investing!

This might be my first Final Fantasy since FFX, always loved the stories, settings and style of these games, but never really enjoyed the gameplay.

This looks like the revolution JRPGs are long overdue.

The combat video reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles.
