Only 2 or 3 secret dungeons to go.

Was it filled with the flan things? That secret dungeon sucked so bad it put me off from doing the others.

Who thought it was a good idea to have the lock on button to keep your lock on (R3) be the same as the map button? :fp:

Half the time I'm trying to confirm my lock on and I end up on the map screen. Really breaks the flow of combat.

Am I missing some trick to summons too? When I get the prompt for L2 I have to basically hold the L2 trigger and take no other actions for about 5 seconds, so no dodging, no attacking, no blocking, not even moving. Is that really how the summoning is supposed to work?

I moved about, though I don't recall using dodge at the time, away from where it was most hectic/where I was least likely to be hit. Being hit resets it, I think.

You just have to hold it down. Which the game doesn't make obvious at all.

Yeah, even in the summoning tutorial it just comes up with an L2 prompt, so I'm tapping away at it wondering why nothing is happening.
The first time it happened I had been holding down L2 and nothing was happening, so I pressed the attack button and coincidentally it was at the same time as the summon triggered, so I thought you had to hold L2 then press Attack. Then the next time, that utterly failed on me :fp:

The controls are definitely one of the weakest parts of the game for me.

Two secret dungeons left..... Currently level 98 at 80 hour in. The next dungeon doesn't allow any items and has five camps. strawberry float that.

Gone back to monster hunting which will get me more ap to max out all abilities so everyone can heal themselves.

Need to grind some magic too to get tons of healing spells for when I tackle that secret dungeon.

Still enjoying it. Despite the game's best efforts to piss me right off.

Wish my image sig would work

A Bahamut Lure

Just done the Adamantoise. What a broken mess that fight is. I could not hold down attack as it wouldn't work so had to keep pressing the button to attack which got annoying fast. Couldn't see jack! would not aim! would not attack at times and was just a pointless UN-enjoyable fight.

The Ultimate Weapon was good on the other hand!

Just a tiny bit of fishing to platinum and two hunts left to do.

70 hours to platinum

Finished fishing, two fish to get my final Trophy. Finished hunts. Just need to check out these extra dungeons. Where do I get the key?

Finished. Absolutely fantastic. Tour de force after Chapter 9, obviously Chapter 13 was boring as strawberry float though.

Reckon in my top 10 games of all time. Looking forward to continuing and trying to do everything else in the game!

Emotional :slol:

I finally beat that turtle and for a great item. Can I re do the quest for 3 more?

I'm at 82 hours in, everyone is level 99 and I'm doing the last side quests and monster hunts.

I keep doing bits of other games then returning to FF15 as it keeps annoying me. Still love it, even with its faults.

Anyone else have issues with Costlemark Tower completely strawberry floating camera control?

In first run of Costlemark, when you're in the underground maze bit, Gladio kind of clipped through the world while using a tech and when I pressed O to link up with him, I followed. If I had the foresight I could have used that to just skip the bullshit maze section and drop to the boss, or at least try it, but instead I just popped back in at a different point, completely losing track of where I was and ultimately having to restart the run.

I was getting my ass beat anyway, so nbd.

Found a fix someone posted to the camera bug. Turn on Cut to Ally animations and have one of them use an item, resets the camera.

strawberry float that bloody maze though, just a chore to get through. Beat the Jabberwocky though and got the final Royal Arm, so now have all 12.

Level 50 to level 99 in about 4 hours using the method in every video on youtube :slol: So easy too.

Can start attempting all the secret dungeons etc now I think. Crazy amount of content.

I thought Costelmark Tower is supposed to be one of the hardest? Done it in just over an hour and beat the boss in under a minute...

All 13 Royal Arms now. Ultimate weapons quests then to Adamantoise I think, dosen't look too bad either.

Are the dungeons behind the doors really hard? Im lvl 99 etc.
