Suppliers were selling wireless headsets cheaper, we had them a tenner cheaper too.

they had Ninja Gaiden 2 for £20 that seems a good deal too.

Same for Ninja Gaiden. GAME didn't do it out of the kindness of their hearts.

Almost every high street shop increases the price of items and then puts them in multibuy offers, it's not a GAME thing, it's a retail thing.

Thats actually not true. We do price checks a few times every week and it's always GAME that have the worst deals-especially when it comes to BOGOF's, Get One Half Price etc... It's only on the rare occasion that you can actually grab a real bargain with them, or in the case Ninja Gaiden II and Wireless Headsets it's a deal that everyone else is doing anyway. Sorry to burst you bubble mate, but as a manager of six years at GAME and now as an independent retailer I know for a fact that GAME, overall, isn't the best place to look for video games and consoles; tight gits won't even let someone blowing £300 on a PS3 choose from more than a couple of set titles. Rubbish, mate, quite rubbish.

That's another thing!

They had an 80gb PS3 with MGS4/GTAIV for £309.99

Or a 40gb with 2 absolutely gooseberry fool games for £299.99.
The guy said it was to shift stock of the 40gb.

Surely, if you want to shift stock, make it strawberry floating cheaper!

The stupidest thing they consistently do is not adjust the price of their preowned games when they have special offers on the new equivalents!

As a general rule - GAME is gooseberry fool, but GAME.co.uk is gooseberry fool hot.

That's to persuade you to buy the new title instead. Quite ironic in light of EA's rant about the pre-owned market.

*sigh*

I'm really tired of hearing this.

They don't reduce the price of the pre-owned copies of the game due to the fact they want to shift their new copies. Lowering the pre-owned titles to below the new retail price will cause more people to buy that than the new copy on special offer.

Do you see?

Why the **** are you going to a shop in kensington when you're in Kent ?

Cos I works just down the road on the edge of Hammersmith, yeah hammersmith, I'll let that sink in for a bit...

:( - seriously

TFL'd. hmm not too far..... go ask her out!

TFL'd? Transport for Londoned? WTF?

And I did ask her if she'd like to go for a coffee once, she just looked at her shoes and mumbled something. I know Asia has some odd customs by our standards but I took that to be a no.

:fp: I was looking to see how far H'Smith was from Kensington!! ;) thus using http://www.tfl.gov.uk to work it out!

Lol, I knew that was going to get me a facepalm.

Yeah, it's not far from Hammersmith at all, the 9, 10 or 27 buses will all take you down there, it's just one big straight road tbh. Get off outside the smiths when it says Kensington High Street station and the game is on the opposite side of the road a little way back from where you came.

As for her, not seen her in a while, but then I haven't been in there much lately.

Also, Mario is going to 360. Y'know, that Nintendo mascot.

If Xbox Zero is the diet model does that mean it'll be much smaller, like a 360 shrunk down to size zero!
