Cheats are fun as strawberry float.

Goldeneye + Infinite Ammo + All Weapons (including tank shells from your forehead!) + Invisibility/Invincibility = Best fun super happy times.

It still amazes me that those button code cheats were kept secret for years after the game's release. Banjo Kazooie and the eggs as well.

EA will probably start introducing them into their games as DLC. Just 800 Microsoft points for god mode.

I know! It was outstanding! These days it wouldn't last three months.

Where was it that I read a very interesting article that stated that the easiest setting on a game should be pretty much a God Mode? Essentially, it said if you want to have infinite ammo and almost limitless health then why shouldn't you? You've paid the money after all. But if you want a real challenge and a sense of achievement then the opposite can just as easily be true, and a range of modes in between.

That way, when you just want to pimp it up and walk through hordes of enemies like a strawberry floating God then you can. But when you want a gaming challenge that is there too.

Everyone wins.

Cheats - a 'thing' of the 90's, now relegated to exclusivity in GamesMaster.

Might be something to do with the Achievements systems on the 360 etc.

My faves were the GoldenEye push button ones, I'd memorise them and whack invincibility on aty the start of the multiplayer! Sneaky!

And the one that extended the character roster. I mean its not even an advantage to use the extra characters, its just about hiding it for the sake of fun! Brilliant!

I only unlocked the Baron Samedi level in Goldeneye because of that invincibility cheat.

My opinion now on cheats is that they ruin games, however when i was a lot younger i much prefered using cheats. Playing games like Sim City or Champ man used to be great on unlimited money, then one day i got bored and prefered playing them properly.
