Can someone tell me what are the current emulators of choice are on Android? I don't mind having to pay a few quid for something decent like ePSXe.

Most people might not have a PS3 hooked up anymore. Some might have had a YLOD. Eventually, hardware breaks. Emulation preserves it forever, enhances it with higher framerates and resolutions. If youre not excited that PS3 emulation is at this stage than you cant be that big an advocate for emulation!

Ad7, currently it only runs at native res. So 720p for Demons Souls. Hopefully soon well get unlocked resolutions and downsampling.

Deaths head, no they don't boot from disk AFAIK right now. I just torrented Demons Souls and Dragons Crown as I own them both legally anyway.

I paid for FPSe years ago and it works fine. Dunno if ePSXe is any different. Mupen 64 plus AE is free I think for N64. I paid for Robert Broglia's .emu ports of 8 and 16 bit emulators cos well they are flawless.

If I had a spare HDMI port on my TV I'd be interested in trying the latest shield TV. I hear it handles the android version of dolphin like a champ.

Annoyingly enough my 40GB PS3 (500gb HDD) I got back in 2008 bit the bullet 2 days ago with the red light of death. My stepdaughter used it since getting a PS4 and she's left it surrounded by gooseberry fool and never cleaned it.

World 1-1 footage. Honestly, it crashes randomly every few minutes so its not really playable. But damn this gooseberry fool is impressive

Cheers. There's a lot of Wii games I really want to get around to playing.

How's Cemu coming along as well? I'm considering selling my Wii U to help towards eventually getting a Switch and there's a handful of games like Tropical Freeze I will have missed out on.

Nope, I'm assuming it would require PSN. Also wasn't DeS using actual servers and not peer to peer? Are its servers even online anymore?

I love Emulators and whatnot, but I'm lazy and don't have a PC set up any more these days.

Has anyone ever bought (or built) one of the Pi Emulator systems?

Retro-Systems sell them pre-built with a good looking GUI and absolutely shed loads of Emulators and games pre-installed - along with Kodi etc.
I must admit, it's very tempting.

No, i've often looked at them and never bothered. In theory they should be fine but i just get the feeling that i would get a duff temperamental one.
