PM sent.

Be careful though, the sites aren't as pleasant as paradise was so a little common sense is advised when downloading anything.

OM plz. I think I know the ones you mean, but I'd like to be sure.

Can I also check my inbox?

I'm glad I've got an archive of most of the stuff I want.

Let's face it a lot of third party stuff isn't going to get re released so I don't care about the law.

Once I've got a decent chunk of stuff uploaded to my Google Drive I'll share it with anyone who is interested (Via PM of course).

It's that old saying of you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

I have the majority of the stuff I want. Really the big shame is the niche stuff. I'm glad I have a English patched ROM of mother 3. Whenever I'll get round to trying it is another thing altogether.

I’ve just learned that VBALink is a thing (it’s a version of emulator Visual Boy Advance with multiplayer support). I’m going to give it a try some point this weekend so I can get some of the Pokémon you can’t catch in Yellow Version.

For those with access to the google drive ROMS I'm uploading there is one little gem I think might be worth looking at in the GameBoy folder.

Kaeru No Tame Ni ("The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls" is what Masahiro Sakurai has called it in English)

Image

It's a game Nintendo released in Japan that never got an english localisation, but is something of a precursor to Links Awakening. It uses the same engine, and one of the characters cameos in LA.
The ROM is patched with an English fan translation (Which is pretty good from what I've read) and it's one I've been meaning to try out.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaeru_no_ ... ne_wa_Naru

EDIT: Actually just booted it up and played a little bit. It's actually quite different from LA in a lot of ways, though you can see how it would evolve into LA.
It's far more RPG like as you have stats and permanent equipment. Combat is automatic, though you can back out and use items or run away. I'm enjoying it though and the music is very reminicent of LA in places. One to stick with I think. :D

I would definitely give it a go. Like I said it's very different from LA in a lot of ways, but you can see how they got to it from this.

I've got a couple of games I think deserve a bit of a spotlight (Such as this one), so as I get them uploaded I'll point them out.

I'm gonna guess CD pays the £80/year for 1TB of Google Drive storage
