It's very, very early days on it, but it's fantastic to see progress finally being made on this system.

Got Jet Set Radio Future working near perfectly (apart from some light graphics glitches) and it's really cool.

There's no way to upscale the games yet (That I can see) so it's at 640x480 and jaggy as hell, but it's fast, it's playable and it feels right as well.

Can't wait to play Timesplitters and Ralisport Challenge!

I think my OG Xbox may still be at my Mum's somewhere but I don't think the games are...

Yeah I'd hold your breath for the moment. Compatibility is still very spotty. My understanding is that JSRF was something of a "target" game for them, so they've managed to make some serious progress with that.

I think it'll come. Between this and the other emulator mentioned in the video I posted earlier it's the most active I've ever seen Xbox emulation.

Do you mean a different game, because Timesplitters is just on PS2. And Timesplitters 2/3 are on PS2/GC too and I imagine pretty playable on their respective emulators.

The latest firmware, it looks like, but for the last few updates installing custom firmware looks like a bit of a hassle. The guide's here. If for some reason you have firmware between 9.0-11.3 then lucky you, you can use the soundhax method which I used and it's pretty straight-forward. And then as long as you have the latest custom firmware it'll be safe to update.

No one is mentioning it so I'm going to assume that the issues with the Google Drive have resolved themselves at this point.

The upload continues quite well. PS2 games seem to be taking a back seat for now, with PS1 seemingly being the priority. These are substantially smaller (CD vs DVD after all) so they should get up much faster.

I've not updated the spreadsheet, but I have a couple of new additions from the past few days.

There are now a couple of Xbox and Xbox 360 games due to some developments within their respective scenes.

Once they've uploaded you'll find:

Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox)
Shenmue II (Xbox)
Dead Or Alive 3 (Xbox)
Castle Crashers (Xbox 360)
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World (Xbox 360)

Xbox games should be played on CXBX Reloaded and 360 games on Xenia. Both are still very early and while they can play the games above quite well most games are still pretty much unplayable. Xenia especially can only really handle 2D stuff right now and I need to find a workaround that lets them play as the full games, rather than the XBLA trials. Xenia also needs a graphics card that supports Vulkan. Exciting times though.

EDIT: I'm also beginning to sort out my Arcade ROMS. Once I've got it down to the basic games (I.e no clones, card games, gambling machines, porn games etc) then I'll start uploading them, but this will be after the main upload has finished.

I forgot about Gals Panic. Might bring that one in.

If there's a demand for all the nudey Mahjong games I'll add them as well.

Also, just been trying some of the Wii VC games in Dolphin and am quite impressed with the in emulator emulation (xzibit.gif).

Tried Phantasy Star IV (Megadrive), Crono Trigger (SNES) and Mario Golf (N64) and all three work perfectly although N64 games have not aged well at all.

Nice. I've not touched any of the VC stuff, focusing instead on the WiiWare games. Looking forward to finally giving Contra and Castlevania rebirth a shot at some point as well as Lost Winds which I remember hearing good things about.

It does, and if you have a Wii U you can do it all on the vwii part.

Yeah. Should just be a case of using a homebrew wad installer (I think the homebrew channel has one).

Some games have dlc as well so make sure to install both if you try it.

That wiiware/vc folder is a goldmine if you like 2d fighters - less so for racing outside of f-zero, mario kart and wave race but there are couple of interesting little games, i think its called Heracles Cart Racer and its a solid but basic mario kart knockoff with a greek mythology twist.

All I can say is thanks very much Devlin it has given me a new bit of something to mess around with... I was really upset to have never got the CastleVania and Contra Revirth games so im going to try to get them to run at some point.

Cheeky Devlin wrote:In upload news, you will now find Lynx and Amiga folders, full of games.

The Hacks and Translations folder (Which doesn't really have much of either to be honest), is finished uploading. There you'll find "Newer Super Mario Bros Wii", as well as a load of MSU-1 patched and enhanced SNES ROMS. Make sure you have an emulator (such as Higan/BSNES or SNES9x) and a PC capable of running them (They can be far more demanding than a basic SNES game).

For those interested in what games will be coming down the line, I've exported my Launchbox collection to a Google Sheet page.

You can see that here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Bear in mind that this is just what's being uploaded (Apart from the Windows games, as it's just reading my Steam library for that). For most of these systems I have much more indepth selections in another folder. If something you want is missing from the list, let me know and I'll see if I have it somewhere else.

EDIT: If you highlight row 1 then click the "Data" menu, choosing "Filter Views">"Create new temporary filter view" will allow you to filter and sort the table to see what you want.
It's read only so don't worry about changing or deleting anything.

I read that entire list only to conclude why the strawberry float don't you have thunder force IV?

Is it not on there? Was sure I'd pulled all the Thunder Force games into my folders.

I'll check it out when I get home tonight.

I only saw 2 and 3 which pale in comparison. Amazing game.

I regret deleting most of my roms now for only ones I thought I would actually play, so I'd appreciate Teh link too. Plus I own lost winds but bought it on a friends system who then sold it.

I played some castlevania rebirth last night it was pretty enjoyable although unless I'm missing something there's no save so it's a play it all in one go kind of game.

I realised though at some point I took the SD card out my hacked Wii and that had the emulators and media players and stuff on, so I kind of need to redo it all. I do think with a 32gig card in it and a 64gig memory stick the Wii will take the place of my old hacked original Xbox.

Try clearing your cache or a different browser.

Ad7 was saying he didn't see stuff on his iPad, but it appeared on his PC.

Took a half day so just checked when I got home and Thunder Force IV is in the uploaded folder. It doesn't appear on the spreadsheet because it's under it's US name "Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar". The actual ROM file is "Thunder Force IV (Japan).zip".
