It was dealing with PSP games at the time, but there's probably a few PS2 and maybe even GameCube games in there.

Now this isn't the end of things being added, (I've still got plans for 3DS, Wii U, ALL THE ARCADE GAEMES and other assorted things) but it is the end of the huge folder sync.

I'll be moving the folder into my main Google Drive section and possibly making a few changes to the way it's shared, so anyone who already has the link should look out for a PM from me at some point in the next day or so with an update on how to access it.

Wonderful work sir, your efforts are greatly appreciated :toot: I'll send you some more content for it soon, got some extra DS+Gamecube games among others

Always glad to take more for the folder. I'm planning on making it so certain people can upload files to the collection as well, which would allow us to expand what's on offer. Especially around systems like the Dreamcast, PSP, 3DS and Wii U, which are thin on the ground.

My next upload is likely to be Naomi or NeoGeo, followed by some of the games I have for Tekno Parrot.

Added a few things to the folder last night/today.

There's now a "Packaged Romset" folder which contains mostly "complete" sets of games. So for example I have a zip/rar file that has every Game Boy game from each region (More or less). There's stuff in there that you won't find anywhere else on the drive.

I've also started to upload 3DS games. These are decrypted and should "just run" in Citra.
In the Arcade folder you'll also find a new one for Tekno Parrot. Tekno Parrot is a "loader" for more recent Arcade games that run on PC's. You'll find games such as After Burner Climax, Sega Rally 3, Virtua Tennis 4 and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX.

EDIT: Oh and NeoGeo games are up as well.

Indeed. A zip/rar file full of them and the TOS files I believe.

Edit: 2.3gb worth it seems. :D

So yeah, the Packaged Romsets folder has some interesting stuff in it:

Acorn Archimedes (Early 90's not quite PC found in schools)
Apple II
Atari 800 and ST
MSX and MSX2 (Need to get the patches for the original Metal Gear games as they're much better than the NES ones)
SNES - Satellaview games (I've not tried to get these working yet, but it's on my radar)
Virtual Boy
ScummVM (Loads of point and clicks)
Sega SG1000 (Precursor to the Master System)
Vectrex

There's loads of space, but don't go too crazy with the PS3 games as they can be bloody big.

What's the performance like on RPCS3 these days? Are games at a playable state on a reasonably specced machine or are we still at the point of needing a supercomputer to get anywhere?

The CPU load is still quite heavy. I don't think that's changed much recently with the focus being on improving accuracy mainly.

I don't really like RPCS3. The way shaders generate basically kills it for me. If they had something like Cemu, where you could share a shader cache with other people it would be amazing, but without it I find it basically unplayable.

Oh no its cool, ill only upload stuff if people want it. The isos are pretty big alright. I have

Demons Souls
Uncharted 1
Lollipop Chainsaw
Tekken Tag 2
Dragons Crown

uhh thats all i can think of

I meant to say, that I already have Demons Souls in there, but it's a folder dump. If you upload the ISO file instead, feel free to delete the existing dump.

Not really emulator related, but I added a new folder to the drive for old magazine scans. So far I've got every issue of Super Play (Apart from last years Retro Gamer special), and a handful of Total! and N64 mags. As with the rest if those with access want to add more, please do.

Also, as I said the existing link for the Google drive will expire later tonight. Anyone who wants access will need to pm me their email address so that I can add them.

Oh and there's some 3DS games up there now as well.

Ah okay - I'll try it out and see how I get on. Can other emulators not take the Ubershader idea that Dolphin introduced to try and get around this?

Ace! In that case, I'll upload a bunch of 3DS games when I can over this week. Planning to add the following:

Cave Story 3D
Fire Emblem Awakening
Fire Emblem Fates
Kid Icarus - Uprising
Legend of Zelda, The: Triforce Heroes
Luigi's Mansion 2
Mario & Luigi - Paper Jam
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Pilotwings Resort
Professor Layton - Miracle Mask
Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright
Rhythm Paradise Megamix
Rhythm Thief
Shinobi
Star Fox 64 3D
Steel Diver
Super Street Fighter IV

Want to add Pokémon Ruby+Y and Smash Bros too although those are finicky in needing update files of sorts

So weird thing; uploading files into Cheeky's shared ROM folder has contributed towards my storage cap as opposed to Cheeky's. From what I've read, it's a case of the ownership still being considered under the uploader's as opposed to the folder's owner.

Honestly I'd be happy to contribute some storage space though I've already filled my measly 15GB up, heh. Trying to see if there's a way to transfer ownership

That's bizarre. :?

Seems a bit odd to me. I'll look into it and see if there's a way around it.
