Whilst I did have a PSP (and I even played it a couple of times!), I'll be honest I'm not really sure there's anything on there that appeals. Any recommendations?

LocoRoco 1 & 2, Patapon 1, 2 & 3, the Star Ocean remakes, the FF 1 and 2 remakes, Jeanne D'arc, Killzone Liberation, Motorstorm Arctic Edge, the Pursuit Force games, Wipeout Pure, Wipeout Pulse, God of War Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.

Not much then :D

I actually had Wipeout, Killzone & Vice City but I will have a look at the others on youtube and see if they tickle my fancy.

There's a tonne of good games on PSP. The ones I mentioned were just the tip of the iceberg, Resistance is decent, Crisis Core is worth a look, there's a couple of Disgaeas if that's your thing, Everybody's Tennis, FF Tactics War of the Lions, the 2 Syphon Filters, the Capcom arcade collections, Lumines 1 and 2, MGS Portable Ops.

I'm trying to think of my favorite PS2 games now to download. I've only been playing SOTC, Ico, and Tekken Tag/4. Can't really think of much else now. Maybe the project zero games.

Besides ICO and SOTC, I'm looking forward to playing:

Frequency
Amplitude
Dark Cloud
Dark Chronicle
Kingdom Hearts
MGS 3
Jak & Daxter
Ratchet & Clank
Sly Cooper
Dragon Quest VIII
Rogue Galaxy
A shitload of other RPGs that I missed/never got around to

As well as stuff like Timesplitters, War of the Monsters, Dark Chronicle and Rez, I've been mostly going after obscure b-tier racing games as well as ones released in japan/US only - Touge 3, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix; a difficult prospect when they get released under completely different names in different regions.

Other than that i'm trying to decipher the GPX Cyber Formula games - based on a cool futuristic racing anime i'd never heard of until recently.

Nice update. I will check the PS2 emulator at some point, although no idea what to try as I never had a PS2. Maybe I'll start with Silent Hill - The Room as I had that on the XBOX but gave up on it.

Yes?

In that case silent hill 2 should be your first port of call.

Nice update, Brer, thanks for doing that :D

Question - Project64 is now prompting me for a donation and won't let me skip the prompt, so I'm unable to access the emulator itself. Is that normal? I'd be happy to donate if it was being a dick about it :(

I believe every version of PJ64 from 2.0 onwards is behind a paywall. Though as with most stuff on the internet there are copies floating around.

EDIT: After looking into it, the donation should disappear after 30 seconds. Failing that you can try the confirmation code "thank you from project64", or go into project64.cfg and set the run count to -1.

Check out some of our stuff!

Look on the project 64 page on here http://emulation.gametechwiki.com

I think it tells you how to bypass the pawall.

gooseberry fool, I just fired up CEMU and Bayonetta 2. Its got some audio issues but aside from that it ran 30fps @ 4K. strawberry floating crazy.

According to emulator zone the newer versions of PJ64 are full of malware so they recommend you stick with older versions.

See the top of this page,

Hmm thanks for sharing that Salad, I'm at work at the moment but will have to check which version I downloaded (got it off Emuparadise). Probably one of the malware ones, knowing my luck.
