Killed Ridley Scott :datass:

EDIT - I had assumed that when the boiled fan piss dropped in his room it would also mean the boiled fan piss drained away from the really big room. Nope.

This where I'm at now-

Image

Not sure how much stuff there is to collect. I did only find a few things because I looked at maps. I wanted to see if I had to go through the big boiled fan piss room. Turned out there was an invisible wall. One that doesn't show up on the X-Ray Visor ffs :| :x :x :x :x

How much longer is left after I active the boss statue thing?

About 15-20 minutes.

What's your play time in the 3DS app? Your posts have convinced me to restart the game instead of trying to pick it up from where I was stuck last year. I'm excited :toot:

The in game time was 11:51 I think. But I died a bit plus left it on when I popped out so neither is going to be accurate.

During the escape there's a tunnel in Crateria that goes right to a room with the animals that showed you how to wall jump and shine spark, and you can shoot a hole in a wall to help them escape off the planet with you. Saving them is actually cannon because they show up in Fusion with you.

Ahhh. I knew about the animals from the Games Done Quick stuff but I simply had no idea where they were on the way. I've watched some footage and you open a door for them.
How do they survive the planet exploding?

If I'm right it's the room where you fight the first Chozo Statue and get the bombs. The Hyper Beam destroys the wall which lets you get to the animals. They escape by stowing away on your ship somehow.

A speedrunner talks about the various tricks and techniques used when speedrunning this. Great little insight into why it's such a good game for Speedrunning.
