Softmodded my launch 3DS last night. Super Metroid on the train. :datass:

strawberry floating Nintendo and tying the SNES VC games to the NEW 3DS.

Also played a wee bit of Federation Force. Controls more like Splatoon than MP: Hunters. Was pleasantly surprised actually. Gonna play some more tonight I think.

Finally completed super metriod with 86% item completion on first playthrough.

Also beat Ridley and Motherbrain on first try. I think I had all energy tanks, 4 reserve tanks, 175 missiles and about 45 super missiles.

There are so many cool secrets in this game.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

Have gone back to Metroid Prime 3 and stumbled upon this

I feel a lot less depressed about this now than I would have last week! Wonder if we'll ever see Metroid Dread?

I was half expecting "Metroid Dread" to pop up at the end of the Samus Returns trailer :P

He was a bit of a cock from what I remember, yes.

Thinking about tackling my remaining Metroid games of shame before the Metroid II remake comes out. It will involve playing Metroid (OG), Prime 2 and Hunters. Prime 2 is the only one I've put any real time into, I just never got around to finishing it.

Still in that room of pain. I'll return to it one day.

Go back to your wasps jawa.

Metroid Prime 3 completed :toot:
That whole phazon multi-boss ending was a bit of a bitch but enjoyed it apart from when my wiimote decided to become unresponsive, andI died with virtually a hit left to kill the boss :x
Enjoyed the game lots, the whole planet jumping made it stand out from the other two, the phazon mode/health loss added a bit of risk, and it was interesting to see the Federation Force in action. Only bit that I wasn't a fan of was some of the motion controls, namely the grapple and pull and the rotate fuel cell bits, which didn't work properly most of the time.

So where's Metroid Prime 4?

Arses. Well, I've still got Metroid, Hunters, Other M, and Federation Force to complete. All the good ones.

I know, I couldn't see anything left to get on any of the maps so it's either on GFS Valhalla or on the ship at the beginning which I can't get back to :V

Alvin Flummux wrote:Pro Tip for Nintendo: Popular, well made unauthorized remakes of your properties is an indicator of a desire in the gaming community for actual remakes of them, if not new mainline titles in that vein.

Instead of issuing a takedown notice and forbidding all access to the product, why not adopt the remake, give it the Nintendo QA treatment and release it officially on your eShops? It would go a long way toward mitigating any damage that Federation Force might be doing to the franchise, too.
