Reducing the price of a new console isn't exactly going to be of much significance to all those affected by PSN being down for a few days.

I'm expecting a formal Kinect price cut, if I'm being honest. I've seen a lot of offers of it bundled, and apparently in the US it's practically impossible to get it without a large gift card included with it.

Sony's got it's work cut out to recover from the PSN disaster, and I doubt a price cut on the PS3 will be enough.
