As good as Edge is, I can't handle the constant tab refreshes. Pretty much every time you change a tab, when you go back the tab refreshes again.

anyone had any issues with restarting on windows 10. I've had a few issues recently for some reason where i try to restart the pc and it will just keep the restarting icon spinning and nothing else happens.

Is Task Manager a useless pile of garbage for anyone else now? I'm occasionally crashing out of games when using Alt Tab (so glad that's back) and Task Manager refuses to respond to me trying to shut down the process.

Is there a way of having different tile arrangements between tablet and Desktop mode?

I'm currently on a Surfae Pro 3, and have sorted all the tiles to how I want them when it's in tablet mode. However when I switch to Desktop mode, the Start bar keeps the same order of Tiles, when I would rather have them in a different order. Is there anyway of having a different tile order for each mode?

I've noticed in the last few uses that when I start up Edge on my desktop, it says something about problem with Cortana and needs to log out and login again. Like a complete bitch, this box that appears has no exits, no option to restart later, just "OK" to log you out. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes?

No, because I don't trust Microsoft to make a web browser worth a damn.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

That's a shame. Maybe they'll add this in a later release.

Would people suggest I install any additional AV/firewall protection, or is MS defender enough?

I use Windows Defender, it is what security essentials was and it does the job for me :)

It's not that bad except for the glaring omission of not supporting extensions, and yes, is therefore worthless.

Its less of a system hog than Chrome which is nice base to be working from but it is feature light at the moment.

I've been using Safari for a while on my Mac but haven't found anything better than Firefox on Windows as of yet. I could see myself switching to Edge if they get some key extensions working.

Really liking Microsoft's marketing later, particularly the ninja cat mascot

Finally made the switch at the weekend. All seemed to go pretty smoothly, and at first glance the OS does seem much faster than Windows 7 did.

Only downside is, it has de-registered my hooky copy of Office 2010 and I can't find the disk to attempt to re-register it. :(

Was going to buy Lightroom 6 but might have to spend that on Office now instead.

If your company is in the Home Use Programme you can get Office 2016 for a tenner at the mo.
