I've gone back to Windows 7 because a few of my games were having issues with Windows 10, particularly with going fullscreen.

Has anyone's rollback option disappeared?

The latest update has made my PC crash alot and the option to revert to Windows 8 when I boot has gone.

I never understood the appeal of coloured themes. Grey is the best for windows as it is the least intrusive and distracting from the actual content being displayed.

Wait. I can get Windows 10 now?
Is it better than Windows 8.1? Which I'm hating having come from 7.

You can get a preview version, but the release OS isn't out yet.

I run windows 10 and while it mainly works, I can't get a few games to play (Civ 5 and GTA IV specifically) properly since it last did a big update a couple of weeks ago. I would go back to windows 8.1, but I'm a lazy lazy man, and have other ways to spend my time rather than playing games I already have hundreds of hours on.

I had some issues with games, too, so I ended up going back to Windows 7.

What exactly do you hate, there's probably a way to fix it or at least make it so that its much less annoying to you.

VirtualBox seemed to kill network connectivity and when I try to do a restore of W10, everything went to gooseberry fool and it couldn't boot.

Just flipped back to W7 on my desktop now, enjoying W10 on my laptop though.

While this is interesting, it must be stressed it's not native support, some form of porting is involved.

They're easily ported using the new SDK

iOS and Android developers will be able to port their apps and games directly to Windows universal apps, and Microsoft is enabling this with two new software development kits. On the Android side, Microsoft is enabling developers to use Java and C++ code on Windows 10, and for iOS developers they’ll be able to take advantage of their existing Objective C code.

They showed a demo of an Android app running through Visual Studio.

Existing desktop apps will also be allowed on the store now, so expect the Store to to have 10x it's current amount of apps at least.

MEGATON!!!!!

Windows 10 phones become PCs when connected to a monitor/keyboard.

Microsoft weren't kidding when they said Windows 10 would be the same OS across all devices.

I think the big thing was MS felt confident like they werent playing catch up like they have been instead they are ahead for once. I think E3 will be a big event for MS as this is of course an area theyve been falling behind in but they do have a lot of exciting stuff coming out.

Edit: I remember years ago saying I could see the xbox 360 running office and it seemed a bit crazy at the time but at this point theres actually no reason the xbone cant.

Wasn't the initial purpose of the Xbox to put a Windows PC at the centre of every living room?

I think the way forward now would be to build Windows into TVs to compete with Android TV.
