Tried out the Live Lock Screen app earlier. It made opening my phone a horrible laggy experience. Uninstalled two minutes later.

Got a shot of a Lumia 520 just now while my iPhone 5 gets fixed (I did have a HTC Desire Z but that was awful in 2014) and I'm really impressed with it. I've always been a big fan of the Windows Phone UI and the Twitter and Facebook integration. Seriously considering just keeping this for now and selling my iPhone 5 before the price drops since I'm planning on getting an iPhone 6.

Are there any particular handy apps people recommend? Already got the usual (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp).

Do you use 2 step verification on gmail? I use that on outlook so that means when i set the phone up i have to go onto outlook and generate a special password rather then my usual one. Might be the same on gmail im guessing

I used to use that but turned it off ages ago. Turned it on again and generated an app-specific password and that worked.
