Looking for recommendations for a decent router. Don't want to spend too much and doesn't have to be that fancy, just do a solid job. My internet speeds aren't great (4 mps) but I have issues with disconnections that I'm fairly sure are because of the crappy router Talk Talk provided.

I'd suggest you start by not using TalkTalk at all...

Yeah, don't worry, lesson learnt there :fp:

Still have 4 months on the contract though, which on the plus side costs like £3 a month (with good reason).

I know the best ISP branded router is the BT Home Hub 5. Not sure if it works on all broadbands, but it can be picked up for around £55.
